I am Marawiya H. Anji an STS student of B34-2.

I have snapped this banana trees at

our backyard. Since there was a vacant lot at the backyard, my sister decided to plant
bananas to not to waste the area and be filled with grass. Growing bananas has a lot of
benefits such as: they make great windbreaks or screens, they can keep the sun on
your sunny west side, water and nutrients are used in waste drains, the leaves can be
fed for horses, cows, and other grazers, the dried trunk remains can be used to make
baskets and mattresses. This is biologically diverse ecosystem because the soil is
healthy and my sister does not put any chemicals to grow these bananas. These plants
have grown healthy with organic fertilizers. It is very important to plant trees because it
gives oxygen that we need to breathe. It also reduces the amount of storm water runoff,
which reduces erosion and pollution in our waterways and may reduce the effects of
flooding. Many species of wildlife depend on tress for habitat. Trees provide food, and
homes for many birds and mammals.
