Questions

1. Write a short paragraph of about ten sentences on any one of the following statements:
• Honesty is the best policy
• Without hard work nothing is possible
• Eating healthy is the first step to good health.

2. Write a short composition in about 150 words on a place you would like to visit and why.

3. Write a letter to your cousin who lives in a different city and describe how you have been
preparing for your approaching exams despite the restrictions in place due to Covid-19.

4. Rearrange these sentences and write them in the correct order to complete the story:

• The boy went near him and saw tears rolling down from the deer’s eyes.
• Everyday he went to the forest to collect wood for selling in the market.
• The boy slowly released it from the trap.
• Once upon a time there lived a little boy in a village.
• From that day onwards the boy and his family never slept hungry.
• One day while on the way he saw a small deer caught in a trap.
• His parents were very poor. Often they had to sleep hungry.
• He told the boy that by releasing him from the trap he had released him from a curse.
• The Prince rewarded the boy with a bag full of gold coins and disappeared.
• On being freed the deer suddenly transformed itself into a handsome prince.
