The graph illustrates the percentage of exploiting oil in

Iceland, Sweden, Italy, Turkey as a proportion of total

energy consumption in each country over the course of
40 years starting from 1966.
As can be seen from the given line graph, it is clearly that
the proportion of Iceland and Sweden oil use
experienced a downward trend. Meanwhile, the
percentage of oil consumption in Italy remained
relatively stable, but the usage of oil in Turkey soared
significantly.
Looking at the graph more closely, it is immediately
obvious that the proportion of oil consumption in Italy
stood at 90% in 1966 and remained steady
approximately 85% forty years later, despite the
fluctuation in the middle of the course. The percentage
of using oil in Turkey was the lowest among four
countries stood at 60% in 1966, it raised significantly in
10 years later before soared to 90% in the end of the
course being the most usage of oil between four
different countries.
In contrast with Turkey, the usage of oil in Iceland
registered 70% in 1966, it plunged by roughly 40% 20
years later, before hit the lowest point in the end of the
course with approximately 35%. A similar trend was
witnessed in the proportion of oil use in Sweden, it
decreased significantly from 70% to 30%, before
dropping to about 20% in 2006, the lowest consumption
among four countries.
