The Borghi lab (https://www.monicaborghi.com/) is recruiting highly qualified individuals for

graduate study (MS/PhD) in the area of flower metabolomics. Research in the lab includes analysis
of primary and secondary metabolites, flower metabolic responses to abiotic stresses, and the
molecular mechanism underpinning synthesis and regulation of metabolites.

Candidates are expected to have:

i. An undergraduate degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Life
Sciences, Agriculture, or related disciplines.
ii. Knowledge of fundamentals of Chemistry/Stoichiometry/Biochemistry, Molecular
Biology, Genetics, and Plant Physiology.
iii. A strong motivation, a deep sense of self-responsibility and be accountable and

If you are interested in joining the lab, please send a copy of your CV, a brief statement of previous
research experiences and future interests/goals, and contact information for two or three references

At this time, students will be funded by teaching assistantships but are strongly encouraged to
apply for graduate research funding.

Before applying, interested students are encouraged to review admission requirements for the
