Cloud computing: Cloud computing is a virtual location where data can be stored
and shared by a large number of people with access. The name comes from the fact
that the data being accessed is stored in the cloud or a virtual environment. Rather
to using any hardware or gadgets, it is always a better and safer solution for every
user to save data in a cloud system. For a variety of reasons, including cost
savings, greater productivity, speed and efficiency, performance, and security,
cloud computing is a popular choice among individuals and corporations.
Depending on the configuration and space used on the platform, the user is needed
to pay a rent. This approach eliminates the need for big computer clusters and
transforms the internet into a cloud that can be accessed from anywhere on the
planet.
The Cloud System can offer Public, Private, or Hybrid services (combination of
both Public and Private). For a price, public cloud providers offer their services
over the Internet. Private cloud services, on the other hand, cater to a limited
number of customers. Cloud computing services, regardless of the type, provide
users with a variety of functions such as email, storage, backup, data analysis, and
so on. Google Drive, Google Docs, and other computing systems are some
instances. Saas, Paas, and AWS are a few examples of cloud computing types.

Differences between Cloud Computing and ERP System:

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a form of software that helps businesses
handle day-to-day tasks including accounting, procurement, project management,
risk management, and compliance, as well as supply chain operations. This system
connects an organization's departments and activities, allowing data to flow more
smoothly between them. ERP makes it easier to collect, organize, analyze, and
send data to every employee and system that needs it to effectively perform their
function and obligation, as data is the lifeblood of every modern corporation.
ERP systems are typically modular, allowing businesses to purchase only what
they require. Financial Reporting Systems, HR and Payroll Systems, and other
ERP systems are examples of common ERP systems. ERP systems provide order
to chaos, allowing everyone from the CEO to the accounts payable clerk to create,
store, and utilize the same data derived from common procedures.
Using an ERP system can provide the user with a single view of the company's
performance, data input can be done once rather than multiple times, management
has greater visibility in all areas of the organization, access control is improved,
reports and procedures are standardized, and many other benefits can be
demonstrated. However, using this system, can be costly, time consuming, will
bring changes in business processes, will increase complexities and may come up
with other difficulties
Cloud computing is a virtual location where data may be stored and shared by a

data being accessed is stored in the cloud or a virtual environment. Rather to using
any hardware or gadgets, it is always a better and safer solution for every user to

the platform, the user is needed to pay a rent. This technology reduces the need for
big computer clusters by turning the internet into a cloud that can be used for a
variety of purposes. This system minimizes the use of large computer clusters and
enables internet to be the cloud which can be used from anywhere in the world.

Some of the benefits of using this computer system include the ability to use
software from any device via a native app or a browser, users can check their email
on any computer, and even store files using services like Drop box and Google
Drive, offers large businesses huge cost-saving potential, companies can swap
costly server centers, and IT departments for fast Internet connections, the cloud
structure allows individuals to save storage space on their desktops or laptops and
so on
However, there are certain drawbacks to adopting this computing system: Security
has always been a major worry with the cloud, particularly when it comes to
sensitive medical records and financial data. With so many people accessing and
editing data through a single gateway, unintended errors can spread throughout the
system.
It is critical that any two aspects be on the same ground in order to distinguish
them. When attempting to compare the two features, it's important to remember
that they're not on the same level. ERP is an integration system that helps examine
and link the connections between different departments of a company. Cloud is a
computing system, and ERP is an integration system. As a result, they can't truly
be distinguished based on their actions.
Amazon web service(AWS): Amazon web service is an online platform that
provides scalable and cost-effective cloud computing solutions.. Amazon Web
Services (AWS) is an Amazon cloud service that delivers services in the form of
building blocks that can be used to design and deploy any type of cloud
application. These services or building blocks are designed to function together,
resulting in sophisticated and highly scalable applications.
Services provided by AWS:
1. Compute (EC2 ,Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, Amazon LightSail)
2. Storage (S3, Elastic Block Store, Amazon Glacier, AWS Snowball)
3. Database (Amazon Aurora, Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon
RedShift)
4. Migration (AWS Database Migration Service, AWS SnowBall)
5. Network and Content Delivery (Amazon Route 53, AWS CloudFront)
6. Management Tools (AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudFomation, AWS
CloudTrail)
7. Security & Identity Compliance ( AWS IAM, AWS KMS, AWS
SHEILD)
8. Messaging (Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon SES, Amazon
PINRPOINT)

Advantages of AWS Services:

1. Security: A common misunderstanding is that data stored in a public cloud
is insecure. AWS, on the other hand, not only provides security features at a
lower cost than other options, but it is also one of the most secure,
comprehensive, and dependable cloud platforms available.
2. Flexibility and scalability: AWS provides on-demand scalability and
flexibility. This allows businesses to plan their infrastructure roadmap on a
subscription basis rather than committing to a full investment.
3. Availability around the World: AWS has 80 Availability Zones across 25
geographic regions global data centers.
4. Cost effective: Companies can save money by using AWS cloud services
instead of purchasing additional software and hardware.
