SUB: LOCKDOWN /SUSPENSION OF WORK OF THE SOUTH DISTRICT

SAKET COURTS COMPLEX, NEW DELHI TILL 03.05.2020

In continuation of this office circulars dated 23.03.2020 & 30.03.2020 and in

compliance of directions given in office order no. R-77/RG/DHC/2020 dated 15.04.2020
of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, New Delhi the functioning of the Courts of South
District shall remain suspended till 03.05.2020. In view of the same, following
directions are issued.

(a) All the cases listed in the Courts of South District, Saket Courts Complex
from 16.04.2020 to 03.05.2020 shall stand adjourned as below:

(b) The Judicial Officers as per Annexure 'A' are assigned / nominated for
handling the fresh matters of extreme urgency including extremely urgent bail
applications, pertaining to the Courts of Additional District Judge / Additional Sessions
Judge. In case, the designated Judicial Officer is not available on any particular day, the
Judicial Officer whose name is mentioned immediately below him shall act as his link
Officer for such purpose and so on and so forth.

(c) The Judicial Officers as per Annexure 'B' are assigned / nominated for
handling the fresh matters of extreme urgency, pertaining to the Civil Courts and
Courts of Rent Controller. In case, the designated Judicial Officer is not available on any
particular day, the Judicial Officer whose name is mentioned immediately below him
shall act as his link Officer for such purpose and so on and so forth.

(d) The urgent work relating to Courts of Magistrates, shall be dealt by the
Metropolitan Magistrate, as per the Duty Roster for the months of April, 2020 and May,
2020 issued by the Office of Ld. CMM (South), Saket Courts Complex, New Delhi.

The Advisory Protocol dated 31.03.2020 issued by this office will continue to
remain operative except that the arrangement qua hearing of urgent matters through
video conferencing shall be done on CISCO Webex as notified vide circular dated
08/04/2020 issued by the District & Session Judge (Hq), Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi. It is
further directed that where the hearings are to be conducted inside the court room the
Judicial Officer on duty shall ensure strict adherence to the norms of social
distancing.

Remaining terms and conditions mentioned in the previous circular dated 23.03.2020
of this office shall remain the same.
