University of Patanjali, Haridwar (UOP) is now moving ahead across the
nation boundaries to propagate and promote yoga academics and practice.
Now UOP is having hands from various International
universities/institutes for educational exchange programmes. In
progression students of
ya Chiki University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom and Wonkwang Digital
University, South Korea has visited University of Patanjali in last
academic year.
Due to global popularity and publicity of Yoga, Wonkwang Institute of
Nature Health Care
Da Institute of Wonkwang Digital University got the government grants to
organize 8th International Seminar on Nature Health Care and Forest
Therapy,
Dr. Nidheesh Kumar Yadav, Department of Yoga Science, University of
Patanjali has been invited as guest speaker for 8th International Seminar
on Nature Health Care and Forest Therapy during 30 June and 01 July 2018
to deliver guest lecture on the topic “Indian Natural Health: Theory and
Practice”. Dr. Nidheesh Kumar Yadav also took a practical Yoga Session
for the participants on special Yoga package by Pujya Swami Ramdev Ji.
The sessions were highly appreciated by the audience and the management
authorities. Further, the managing authorities requested Dr. Nidheesh to
shoot a session for OM Chanting and its therapeutics.
WORKSHOP ON SPSS & MENDELEY : A KEY TO RESEARCH
With the blessings of Honourable Swami Ram Dev Ji Maharaj, Chancellor,
UOP and Reverend Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj, Vice Chancellor,
University of Patanjali, Haridwar, a two days online workshop was
organised on title "SPSS & Mendeley: A Key to Research” on 24th & 26th
September 2020 exclusive for PhD Research Scholars of University of
Patanjali. The aim of this workshop is to make familiar our Research
Scholars to current research trends and the major research tools required
while accomplishing any research work. Dr. Arun Kaushik from IIM Amritsar
and Dr. Narender Kumar, Amity University, Noida were the resource persons
of the program.

Dr. , inaugurated the workshop with his valuable blessings. He stated
that how the research is important for today's students as well as the
importance of research since the ancient times. Dr. V. K. Katiyar, Dean
(Academics & Research), welcomed the speakers and also elaborated the
objective of this event. Dr. Pravin Punia, Registrar attained her
presence and motivated the students with her act of kindness. In
continuation Swami Parmarth Dev Ji said that such type of activities
seminar, workshops, etc play dynamic role in enriching the students.

Amritsar explored the sound information on SPSS: Statistical Package for
Social Sciences. He elaborated the major technical tools and there use in
developing the Research Methodology. Dr. Narender Kumar from Amity
University, Noida took the charge of Mendeley. He explained how Mendeley
has become the key tool in a Research. "Mendeley Cite speeds up the
process of referencing when writing, giving researchers the tools to
quickly and easily insert references from their Mendeley library directly
into their Microsoft Word document.” he added.
All the Research Scholars of University of Patanjali attended both the
sessions of the workshop and learnt how to use these Research Tools: SPSS
and Mendeley in their Research work. Research Scholar Surender Patel and
Rohit associated the organizer in making this workshop successful.

ु परम्परा का निर्वहन कर रहा है । योगर्षि पज्
ू य स्वामी रामदे व जी महाराज एवं श्रद्धेय आचार्य
बालकृष्ण जी महाराज के वैदिक संस्कृति एवं सिद्धान्तों को विश्वपटल में पुनः स्थापित करने के अभियान में
एक कड़ी के रूप में कार्य करने वाली शास्त्रकण्ठपाठ प्रतियोगगिता का आयोजन पूज्य स्वामी जी के संन्यास
दिवस "रामनवमी" के पावन अवसर पर हुआ, जिसमें परम पूज्य स्वामी जी महराज, परम पूज्य आचार्य
प्रद्युम्न जी एवं परम श्रद्धेय आचार्य श्री ने विद्यार्थियों का उत्साहवर्धन करते हुए शास्त्रकण्ठपाठ में पर्व

निर्धारित ग्रन्थ गीता का आद्योपान्त कण्ठपाठ सभी प्रतिभागियों से सन
ु ा। जिसमें पतञ्जलि विश्वविद्यालय
के स्नातक प्रथम वर्ष की छात्राएं- डोली जी, रिचा जी, निशा जी, महिमा जी एवं राज्यलक्ष्मी जी ने 90%
से अधिक अंक प्राप्त कर प्रतियोगिता में पहले स्थान पर रहीं। परम पूज्य स्वामी जी महाराज ने इन सभी
सफल छात्राओं को बीस-बीस हजार रुपयों के पुरस्कार की घोषणा की। इन छात्राओं ने अवकाश में भी
छात्रावास में रहकर पतञ्जलि विश्वविद्यालय के संस्कृत विभाग की। प्राध्यापिका डॉ. साधना जी के
मार्गदर्शन एवं प्रेरणा से तथा स्वयं के परिश्रम से सम्पर्ण
ू गीता कंठस्थ की तथा परु स्कार में प्राप्त राशि-
100,000/- रुपये को इन्होंने वैश्विक महामारी कोरोना के आपदा राहत कोश में दान कर दिया। पतञ्जलि
विश्वविद्यालय परिवार इन्हें बधाई एवं मंगलकामनाएँ दे ता है ।
हर व्यक्ति संसार को बदलने की सोचता है ; परन्तु कोई भी स्वयं को बदलने की नहीं सोचता। हमें दृढ़
निश्चय होना चाहिए कि मनुष्य की सबसे बड़ी विजय अपनी दर्ब

पतंजलि विश्वविद्यालय में स्वामी विवेकानन्द जी का हुआ व्याख्यान
डॉ. विपिन कुमार द्विवेदी द्वारा प्रत्यावेदित
पतंजलि विश्वविद्यालय में एक दिवसीय व्याख्यान माला का आयोजन हुआ, जिसमें मुख्य वक्ता स्वामी
विवेकानन्द थे। कार्यक्रम का प्रारं भ वैदिक मंगलगान से हुआ। दीपप्रज्वलन के उपरान्त स्वामी विवेकानन्द ने
अपने वक्तव्य में छात्रों को जीवन सम्बन्धी महत्त्वपूर्ण जानकारियाँ प्रदान की। छात्रों से संवाद कर उन्होंने
प्रश्नोत्तर विधि से छात्रों के प्रश्नों के उत्तर प्रदान किये। उन्होंने समाज में फैली ईश्वर के प्रति भ्रान्तियों को
स्पष्ट किया तथा प्रकृति, मनष्ु य, संसार, जीव, आत्मा, पन
ु र्जन्म जैसे महत्त्वपर्ण
ू विषयों पर चर्चा की।
इस संदर्भ में छात्रों के द्वारा पूछे गये प्रश्नों का निवारण बड़े ही शान्त एवं गम्भीर मुद्रा में दिया। उन्होंने
छात्रों को अच्छे विचार रखने, बुरी आदतों में न पड़ने, एक आदर्श दिनचर्या का पालन करने की प्रेरणा दी।
इस अवसर पर उपस्थित पतंजलि विश्वविद्यालय के प्रतिकुलपति, प्रो. महावीर अग्रवाल ने समागत स्वामी
विवेकानन्द जी का धन्यवाद ज्ञापन किया। इस व्याख्यान के अवसर पर पतंजलि विश्वविद्यालय एवं
पतंजलि आयुर्वेद कालेज के सभी शिक्षक, छात्र एवं छात्राएं उपस्थित थे।

Under the blessings of Param Pujya Acharyaji (Vice-Chancellor of U.O.P)
Dr. Vaishali Gaur (H.O.D), Dr. Abhishek Bharadwaj and Mr. Ram Gupta
organised one day Psychology Workshop entitled “Cognitive Behaviour
Therapy” in which senior Clinical Psychologist from Institute of Human
Behaviour and Allied sciences, Shahdara, Dr. Uday Sinha and senior
Professor Dr Renu Rastogi detailed application processes of curing
behavioural disorders with its theory. The workshop started with the
pleasant presence of dignities like Dr. Mahavir Aggarwal (Pro Vice
Chancellor), Dr. Katiyar (Dean and Research coordinator), Dr. Vinod
Bansal (Director of Academics and Placement) Dr. Govind Mishraji (CEO)
and others faculty staff. A total of 100 students got registered
themselves and enjoyed learning with creative technique. In the Closing
ceremony of the workshop Dr. Mahavir Aggarwal (PVC) addressed the
students and said that 'Through positive thoughts a person can lead happy
and stress free life”.

Yogamratam Sewa Samsthan, Kursi Road, Lucknow is a Trust promoting and
promoting Yoga in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The Chairman of
Trust Dr. Ram Kishore is a renowned scholar of Yoga and served for apex
research institutions working in the field of Yoga research like DRDO,
etc. .
Yogamratam Sewa Sansthan initiated various aspects to connect youth for
their overall holistic development through Yoga. One aspect among them is
the annual facilitation of at least one renowned scholar of Yoga Science
related to Uttar Pradesh. In this regard Dr. Nidheesh Kumar Yadav, Asst.
Professor Department of Yoga Science, University of Patanjali, Haridwar
was nominated for YOG GAURAV SAMMAN-2018.
On 18 November 2018 Yog Gaurav Samman was awarded to Dr. Nidheesh Yadav
in the auspicious presence of Sh. Atul Kumar Gupta (Former Secretary
Uttar Pradesh), Prof. Raj Kumar Singh (Pro Vice Chancellor, University of
Lucknow) and Prof. Ishwar Bhardwaj (Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences,
Gurukaul Kangri University) on the memorable day of 1"Naturaopathy Day at
the Auditorium of Urdu Academy, Gomti Nagar Lucknow.
Dr Nidheesh Kumar Yadav, Asst. Professor Department of Yoga Science was
invited for the Guest Lecture during Global Yoga Festival 2019 during 11-
12 February 2019 at NDMC Conventional Hall, Connaught Place, New Delhi on
the theme "Common Yoga Protocol for diabetes” organized by Global Yoga
Alliance, New Delhi.
Dr. Nidheesh addressed the audience especially to the seekers of Yoga
Therapy on “Holistic Nature of Applied Yoga Therapy", which was
anonymously accepted by the audience and the experts of Global Yoga
Festival. He was facilitated with amemento as remembrance.

under the Leadership of Hon'ble Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mahavir Prasad
Agarwal , Dean Dr. V. K. Katyar, in the valuable guidance of Director
Placement, Sh. Vinod Bansal Placement Cell, University of Patanjali
placement cell of University of Patanjali is supporting the students by
providing professional platforms with various organizations so that they
can serve for the subject and for the nation. Accordingly, SARVA a joint
venture of ZORBA having more than 70+ yoga studios across the nation has
been requested for placement of students of University of Patanjali.
For the placement an interview was conducted by Mr. Munish Bajaj,
Placement Officer, Placement Cell, University of Patanjali with the
Cooperation of Mr. Sandeep Manikpuri, Co-ordinator, Dept. of Physical
Education on 1" and 2" March, 2019. This Interview was conducted for the
placement of final year students of MSc, MA, BA, PGD Yoga Science, out of
which 141 students were selected by M/S SARVA-ZORBA, Chennai.
संयुक्त राष्ट्र भवन में पतंजलि विश्वविद्यालय के दो छात्र विनय और श्रेयांश सम्मानित
दिल्ली संयुक्त राष्ट्र भवन में 18-19 सितंबर 2019 को एकत्रित हुए संपूर्ण भारत के प्रत्येक राज्य के चार
युवा प्रतिनिधियों जिसमें उत्तराखंड राज्य के युवा प्रतिनिधि के रूप में उत्तराखंड की दो लोकसभा क्षेत्रों
नैनीताल और टिहरी लोकसभा से पतंजलि विश्वविद्यालय के दो छात्रों ने प्रतिभाग किया। जहाँ उनका
उद्बोधन नए भारत के निर्माण के विषय में हुआ। दो दिन तक चली इस वहृ द चर्चा में टिहरी के प्रतिनिधि
के रूप में पतंजलि विश्वविद्यालय के यव
ु ा छात्र श्रेयांश चौहान ने अपने विचार नए भारत के निर्माण में
युवाओं की भमि
ू का के विषय में रखे। श्रेयांश ने युवाओं को संबोधित करते हुए बताया कि नए भारत का
निर्माण यदि करना है तो प्राचीन ऋषियों की वैदिक संस्कृति के साथ
आधुनिकता का समावेश कर युवाओं को आगे बढ़ना होगा एवं सभी को जातिवाद, क्षेत्रवाद, भाषावाद,
संप्रदायवाद से ऊपर उठ एक मत हो राष्ट्र उन्नत के क्षेत्र में कार्य करना होगा। नैनीताल के प्रतिनिधि के रूप
में पतंजलि विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र विनय दे व यादव ने अपने वक्तव्य में बताया कि भारत ने परू े विश्व को

को उठाते हुए कहा कि जिस समय विश्व को वस्त्र पहनने का भी ज्ञान नहीं था उस दौर में भारत में विश्व
के सर्वश्रेष्ठ शिक्षण संस्थान गरु

विश्वविद्यालय के होनहार छात्र अजय ने जीता गोल्ड मेडल
योगा फेडरे शन ऑफ इंडिया के तत्वावधान में श्रीगंगानगर जिला एसोसिएशन के सहयोग से लायन्स हॉल में
हुई योग प्रतियोगिता में पतंजलि वि.वि. के अजय वर्मा ने गोल्ड मेडल प्राप्त किया। बेचलर ऑफ योगा के
अंतिम वर्ष के छात्र अजय वर्मा ने गोल्ड मेडल प्राप्त कर विश्वविद्यालय का नाम रोशन किया है ।
श्रीगंगानगर में आयोजित इस प्रतियोगिता में मुख्य अतिथि एडिशनल एसपी सुरेन्द्र सिंह राठौड़ एवं एसीबी
के डीएसपी वेद प्रकाश लखोटिया ने करीब सात सौ प्रतिभागियों के योग प्रदर्शन को सराहा एव . जेता
साधकों को प्रतीक चिह्न एवं मेडल प्रदान किए। अजय वर्मा अभी तक जिला स्तर पर तीन बार गोल्ड
मेडल, राज्य स्तर पर एक बार गोल्ड मेडल एवं सिल्वर, राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगिता में एक बार गोल्ड
एवं सिल्वर तथा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेकर अपनी प्रतिभा दिखा चुके हैं। अजय वर्मा की
इस कामयाबी पर वि.वि. व अनेक संस्थाओं ने खश

Professor CREATING YOGA HUSTLE IN SOUTH KOREA A Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) between University of Patanjali and Wonkwang Digital
University was signed between Acharya Balkrishna Ji as Vice Chancellor of
University of Patanjali and Moon Namgung President of Wonkwang Digital
University, South Korea during year 2017. This MoU was done with a view
to enhance the mutual exchange of traditional knowledge & Research about
Yoga, Ayurveda and Korean system of medicine among the students of both
the countries to serve the masses. Accordingly, a delegation consists of
17 Female and 09 Male members from Wankwonk University South Korea had
arrived University of Patanjali, Haridwar on 30th Jan 2018 for a workshop
of 04 days on Yoga Science. An inaugural session was held on 30th evening
chaired by the Registrar of the University. The delegation had been
served with a bag, file, Yoga mat with cover as token of love and
gratitude. From 31st Jan to 02nd Feb 2018 workshop was successfully
conducted with 02 theory lectures of 01.30 hrs daily 01 Yoga Practical
for 1.30 hrs daily and 01 Cultural event of an hour daily. They had been
served with international accommodation and food as per their
requirement. The delegation also visited Patanjali Research Institute on
31st Jan 2018, Yog Gram and Niramayam on 01st Feb 2018.The Pro-Vice
Chancellor of University of Patanjali Dr. V. Kulwant addressed the
delegation on 02nd Feb 2018 initiated with Hawan (Fire Worship). They
also visited the Manufacturing Unit Padartha on 03rd Feb 2018. They were
finally waved off on 03rd Feb 2018. The whole staff of University of
Patanjali cordially participated to organize the workshop successfully.
