Demiflora Server - Trigger List

The following is a list of user-submitted triggers, please be mindful of these things.

If you are going to discuss them please use the #restricted-discussion and
#restricted-images channels.

Please avoid talking and joking about or sharing any images the following subjects in
our server at all:
- Abuse of any kind (emotional, physical, sexual, etc.) (this also applies to animals)
- Illicit drug use (especially underage drug use)
- LGBTQ+ discourse & other debates about identities
- R*pe / sexual assault / cocsa / inc*st / p*dophilia / z*ophilia/ etc.
- School shootings
- Self-harm
- Suicide
- Cannibalism
- Ableism

If sharing imagery of the following, please mark as a spoiler (mobile does not support
spoilering direct uploads, but you can spoiler a link to an image from mobile) and
provide a content warning (you must still mark the image with a spoiler if sharing in
#restricted-images):
- Bright flashing colors that could possibly trigger epilepsy
- Emetophobia (v*mit)
- End of the world imagery (e.g. image of a huge meteor hitting the earth)
- Entomophobia (bugs, all kinds, no exceptions, includes bug-inspired OCs)
- Eye horror / trauma (IRL images and art)
- Genderbent characters
- Incision imagery/gifs
- IRL injuries and blood
- Long fingernails (fine if they are painted)
- Needles (including medical needles/syringes)
- Sexualization of trans people and women
- Thalassophobia (ocean & other large bodies of water)

get you banned)
- Realistic image of Goofy with yellow teeth
- Sharp Objects
- Teletubbies
 - Underestimatation of itchiness (saying it’s not bad/think it’s funny)
- Tornados

Please be careful of the following topics and take them to the #restricted-discussion
channel:
- Please place a spoiler over a long string of capitalized text
- Anti-Semitism
- Calories, dieting, eating disorders, affirming conventional body
ideals/standards, body dysphoria, height/weight comparisons, etc.
- Comparing someone’s OCs to other characters
- Cult jokes
- Diseases (especially cancer) and how they can lead to death
- Epilepsy (the condition itself)
- End of the world discussions
- Fandom discourse / ship wars
- Gaslighting behavior
- Guilt-tripping behavior
- Horror stories of any kind (including unsolved mysteries and “weird” accidents)
- In depth discussion of climate change
- In depth discussion of communism
- Leukemia and jokes about cancer
- Mother positivity
- Paranoia-inducing sentences (esp. in relation to being stalked)
- Trigger / triggered jokes
- Unreality (e.g. “nothing is real”) and derealization
- Drowning (and suffocation in general)
- Grandpa

We can’t discourage the use of these names as they are names that people in the server may
go by, but any member found using these names to intentionally cause distress to another
member will face disciplinary action.

- The word q---r, the r-slur, or any other slurs (per the rules, use of slurs can result in a
ban)
- Words referring to children/children looking characters in a creepy manner such as
Loli, Lolicon, Shota, and Shotacon
- Princess
Phrases:
- “Cuddle up with you under a comforter”

Please give a warning if sharing audio of these sounds, especially over voice chat:
- Creepy binaural sounds like door knocking and footsteps
- Heartbeat
- Loud sounds, especially out of nowhere

- Yelling in a threatening manner
- Sounds of alert sirens (e.g. air-raid, tsunami, earthquake, etc).
- Gunshots / cannon blasts / fireworks audio.
