 BRAIN-A-THON
BRAIN-A-THON is a business quiz event with
intellect knowledge of business insight.

Where the candidates will be provided a

platform to showcase their knowledge in the
field of business current affairs.

Each participant has to undergo 3 rounds –

ROUND 1- QUALIFICATION ROUND – BUSINESS QUIZ (CURRENT AFFAIRS)

ROUND 2- RAPID FIRE ROUND (Identify the Tagline and brand)

ROUND 3- BUZZER ROUND (Identify the Logo of the Companies)

Rules:
1. First round will be a MCQ and NON-MCQ type paper based quiz where the
participants have to answer 20 questions in 15 minutes. Only 8 to 10 teams (of 2
members each) will be selected for the next round. This round contains NO
NEGATIVE MARKING.
2. Second round consists of Rapid-Fire round where participants are expected to
identify the Tagline of a company. Each team has to answer as many questions
as they can in 2 minutes. This round contains NEGATIVE MARKING.
3. Third and Final Round is a Buzzer round where participants have to identify the
logo of the company.
4. Final Winner will be the team with maximum points.

 INFOGRAPHICS
INFOGRAPHICS is a marketing event clubbed with human
resource aspects. Participants will have to face an interview for a
job.

Each participant will be given a CV created by the

INFOGRAPHICS team. These CVs will be faulty, in the sense;
they will have some aspects that will make the candidate less
worthy for any organization. The participants will be given 20
minutes to go through the CV and prepare themselves.

There will be two interviewers taking interviews simultaneously. Participants will be

called randomly for the interview. Each interview will not exceed 10 minutes.

The participants will be judged on the basis of how groomed they are, communication
skills and how well they are able to market themselves.

To make it fair, one winner will be picked from each panel.

RULES:
1. Only solo participation is allowed; no pairs or groups are allowed.
2. Total duration of the event will be between 1.5hrs to 2hrs depending on the
number of participants.
3. The event only has one stage.
4. Stationery will be provided.
5. Participants are expected to come in formals.

 FOLDED GIANTS
Flex your minds in order to find a way out from deep troubled
lines, which will be in relevance to the current business
scenario. The participants have to pick up the chits from glass
jar provided by the coordinators within the allotted time. The
students have to analyse the topic, point out the necessary
details on the basis of the topic. Further they have to prepare a
Power point presentation on the same. Total number of
members- 2 to 4

RULES:
1. The participants need to pick-up a folded chit from a box of their own choice. The
folded paper carries the topic. Once chosen, the participants can’t alter the
chit.
2. Apart from reading and analysing the article they need to prepare and deliver a
presentation on their analysis followed by suggestions and conclusions.
3. Few topics might even contain queries which will be given by the co-ordinators
on spot to the participants and on the basis of that they need to prepare.
CAUTION : THE PRESENTATION SHOULD STRICTLY ADHERE TO
BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE OF THE PROVIDED TOPIC.
4. Total time for presentation: 4+1 minutes.
5. The presentation needs to have minimum 10 slides (excluding front and end
page).
6. Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited.
7. The decision of the jury members will be final and no requests of the contestants
will be entertained.

The students will be evaluated on the basis of CONTENT, PRESENTATION SKILLS &
BUSINESS IMPLICATIONS.

 INVENTO
Participants need to form a group of 4-6 people.
Groups need to come with their own innovative idea
in any field, must make a video on the same within
the IMI campus and upload on Instagram. At the end
of the day, video with maximum likes will be awarded.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1. Every team must have 4 – 6 members.
2. Groups should come with their own innovative idea and must pitch for their ideas
in a video that will be uploaded on Instagram.
3. All three hashtags must be included.
4. Every team should have at least one laptop.
5. The video uploaded on Instagram should be of maximum 1 minute.
6. Time duration for shooting and uploading video is 40 minutes.
7. Video should be shot anywhere on campus except hostel premises.
8. At the end of the day, the video with maximum views will be awarded.

 RED BAHI KHATA
This is an event where you have to show your budgetary
skills. This will test your knowledge about 2019 budget.
This is a two-round event, each team will have 2–3
members. In first round there will be debate and in the
second round there will be budget formulation.

Rules:

1. The topic for the debate will be given on spot.

2. The speakers shall not disclose their identities and shall only represent
themselves by the team codes allotted to them.
3. The speakers shall come to the podium as a team where one shall speak about
the topic.
4. Each speaker shall be allotted a total time limit of 3 minutes (2+1) where the last
minute shall be given to the jury to ask Question.
5. The answer to the rebuttal shall not exceed 1 minute.
6. The decision of the jury will be final.
7. Violation of any rule may cause disqualification of the whole team with the
discretion of the jury.
8. Groups selected from round 1 will be eligible for this round.
9. Each group will be provided with required stationeries.
10. Each group will be allotted a time limit of 20 minutes within which they have to
prepare the budget.
11. No electronic gadgets will be allowed except calculator.

This event is about making your own products and selling
them. Students have to collect the materials required for
the preparation of their product. Within the allotted time
they have to prepare the product from the material they
have collected. After the preparation of product, they have
to pitch in the given time.

The students will be evaluated on the basis of their

creativity and idea of pitching.

RULES:

1. Each team will have 3-4 members.

2. Students can select any 4 materials out of the available recycle material.
3. Maximum time for material pickup and idea submission will be 5 minutes.
4. Maximum time for making product will be 35 minutes.

 INTELLIGENT INVESTOR 3.0
Join the new era of stock trading. A gripping 5-day
online event that lets people compete with each other
on a common platform; whether you are an
experienced investor or a novice, is trivial.

This is a Pan India event. Separate accounts will be

created for individual participants. Each account will
be given a pre-decided virtual money capital. The participants will have to astutely
invest this allotted sum into the virtual stock market by creating a diversified portfolio.
The extent of profit made by individuals will determine the top performers of the event.

RULES:

1. One player can have only one account.

2. Participants found competing with multiple accounts/login-ids would be disqualified
from the event.
3. Participants must possess a valid college id card (UG/PG) or Government id
proof(Excluding Pan Card)
4. Decision taken by the organizers would be final & binding on all.
