Aerial Camera
An aerial camera consists of the following essential part:

• The lens assembly (lens, diaphragm, shutter and filter)

• The camera cone

• The focal plane

• The camera body

• The drive mechanism

• The magazine

Vertical Photograph
• Vertical Photograph: Camera axis coinciding with the direction
of gravity

• Tilted Photograph: Camera axis unintentionally tilted from the

vertical by a small amount, usually less than 30.

• Oblique Photograph: Camera axis directed intentionally

between the horizontal and the vertical.

High Oblique: apparent horizon is shown in photograph

Low Oblique: apparent horizon is not shown in photograph
