ENGINEERING (B.Eng)

• Undergo academic training to be an engineer

• Learn a lot of theory / knowledge and a fair
amount of design.
• Theory based - 80% of engineering theory, 20%
of related skills.
• Require higher-level mathematics, including multiple
semester calculus and calculus-based theoretical
sciences courses.
• They often pursue entry-level work involving
conceptual design or research and development.
BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING
TECHNOLOGY (B.EngTech)

• Focus on application and implementation - 60% of

engineering theories with 40% of hand on applications
• Work as a connection between engineer and
technologist.
• Curriculums typically focus on algebra,
trigonometry, applied calculus and other courses
that are more practical than theoretical in nature.
