FAST FOURIES TRANSFORMATION

• A fast Fourier transform (FFT) is an

algorithm that computes the discrete
Fourier transform (DFT) of a
sequence, or its inverse (IDFT).
Fourier analysis converts a signal
from its original domain (often time
or space) to a representation in the
frequency domain and vice versa.

CONCLUSIONS

• Santiago Jesus :
• On the development of this case study, we get in touch with some new characteristic
of the fast fourier transform on the field of measured vibration of the clamped free
beam for various signal inputs. We develop skills to adapt our calculus into hte
software of Matlab, in order we were able to observe several samples that are
developed through the given signals. through the full understanding of the
implementation of this practice, we can add one more skill into our workfiles on
Matlab, making us adaptive for a competitive environment.
• Manuel Ordoñez:
• At the end of this case study, I can concluye that
this topic is important for our
future development. We learned that the fast fourier transform could have
many applications and it is importar on our fiel of study. I believe that this will
help us in the future.
• Samuel Cotera:
• At the end of this case study, we learned about the Fast Fourier transform and
that it is used to convert the measured vibration of the clamped free beam for
various signal inputs. We developed the case study through the MatLab
application where we were able to observe several samples that are
developed through the given signals. This case study was very helpful to us so
that we could learn more features of the MatLab program and thus be able
to continue developing our knowledge in the future.
• Roberto Blanco:
• I think that this kind of topics will be very important in our future as engineers
because even though it was a bit complicated we managed to implement what
would be FFT in software in such a way that we could be in contact with
features that we were not familiar with.
• Sergio Berrelleza:
• In conclusion, It was a bit difficult for me to fully understand the code and
what it does. Nevertheless, I consider that it is an important topic, because it is
extremely useful in our subject and in our major. I do think that I'll be using the
Fast Fourier transform in the future and that I will get better coding with it.
• Yahel Balam:
• As a conclusion, fast fourier transforms is an interesting topic, because of its
complex application, or at least for me. Hence, as embedded engineers, I
believe that it will be for extremely importance for us to understand this topic,
and I'm sure we will see it on future projects and applications
