Name of Work: Providing of H.T network including Compact Sub Station for various labs at CPRI Campus, Bangalore.

Secondary Substation of robust construction, vermin & dust proof,
capable of withstanding thermal & mechanical stresses as per the
max Short Circuit rating at 11KV, 50 HZ. The prefabricated
enclosure is to be fabricated out of suitable GI sheet steel &
complying to protection degree of IP54 (LT & HT switchgear
compartment) & IP23 ( for transformer), with suitable MS base
Channel framework for rigidity, necesary covers & doors with
safety interlocking, Earthing arrangement, ventillation
arrangement, Internal light points & fittings, polyurethane painting
and foundation (as per OEM recommendation) etc. complete as per
CPWD specifications whereever applicable, including supplying
& Installation of the following in seperate compartments in the
above CSS.
A) HT Switchgear :
11kV 630Amps, 21 kA for 3 Sec. Indoor type SF6 insulated Non-
Extensible Compact switchgear consisting of two number load
break switches and one No. Fixed Manual Vacuum Circuit Breaker
with Microprocessor based self Powered Relay in SF6 insulated
stainless steel enclosure, with series trip, self powered
microprocessor based numerical over current relay (IDMTL+ Inst.)
protection and Air Insulated Metering Module of Class -1.0.
Interconnection between HT switchgear and transformer
etc.complete as required as per detailed specification.- 1 Set.
B)Transformer:
1000 KVA Continuous rating, copper wound cast resin dry type,
11/0.433 KV, hermatically sealed, delta-star Transformer suitable
for indoor & outdoor in suitable enclosure, with rotary type off-load
tap changer for adjustment of HV in 4 equal steps varying from +5%
to - 5%, etc complete as per detailed specification. - 1 Set.
C) L.T.Compartment:
Incomer: 1600 Amps capacity 4 strip suitable Alluminium Bus Bar
(100% for phase and 50% for Neutral) and all required accessories
etc. complete as required. - 1 Set.
Out Going:
i) 1000 Amp, 415 V, 4 Pole, 50KA, MCCB ( Ics =100%Icu) with
Rotary operating Meachanism and Microprocessor release, for
Protection & isolation of LT side, with adjustable O/C and E/F setting
, suitable Alluminium Bus Bar/ Spreaders, DMC/SMC insulator and
all required accessories etc. complete as required. - 2 Set
ii) 630 Amp, 415 V, 4 Pole, 50KA, MCCB ( Ics =100%Icu) with
Rotary operating Meachanism and with Microprocessor release, for
Protection & isolation of LT side, with suitable Alluminium Bus Bar/

D) Outdoor type enclosure having construction of Galvanised Sheet
Steel of thickness 2 mm for Load bearing member and minimum 1.6
mm for Non Load bearing member. The Enclosure shall have IP54
degree of protection for HT & LT switchgear compartment &
IP23 degree of protection for Transformer compartment. The
enclosure exterior shall be Polyuratne painted (Colour Light Gray &
D.A.Gray ). Each compartment will be provided with the door and
pad locking arrangement. The Compartment illumination lamp with
door operated switch shall be provided for MV and LV compartment.
Internal Earthing connection with Minimum 50 x 6 mm Aluminium

E) Interconnection Between HT switchgear & Transformer using 1C

x 3R x 95 Sq.mm XLPE Single core cable & Interconnection
between Transformer & LT switchgear using Al. Busbars. Internal

arrangements within unit, Transportation & Crane hoisting etc.
