Virtual Journey - Lake Samsonvale Walk
What did your group find most interesting about this walk?

 The thing our group found the most interesting about Lake Samsonvale Walk was the
Availability of canoeing, kayaking, rowing, and sailing and other water sports
activities near the lake.
 Fishing is also allowed on the shores by obtaining a permit from Samsonvale Water
Sports Association.
 Barbeques and picnic spots are available, play areas for children.
 The walk is rather open and wide, which gives enough chance to get a hold of the
beautiful view of the lake.

How do you think your group would manage physically undertaking this walk?
Our group would love to go ahead with this journey. All the members of our team are
physically fit, and we are always looking for such opportunities to have a scenic view like
this. Since the walk is flat, it is safe to say that team will be able to complete this walk and
enjoy as well. This walk is also friendly for all fitness levels.
If you wanted to do this walk as a full 2- day AJ, how might you extend this walk or is there
an alternate walk in the same area?
A visit to lake Samsonvale would be perfect for autumn or summers, to enjoy the water
sports near the lake and swimming and I would also try and learn fishing as well as take part
in water sports there is this were my 2- day Adventurous journey. We would camp near the
lake, draw a bonfire in the night and barbeque, we can also go midnight swim.
