Meet the Composer | Play and LearnTM

Congratulations parents! You’ve just enhanced your child’s music experience. Our
Meet the Composer | Play and LearnTM Series give kids an opportunity to do more
than just play the music of our great composers. They’ll also learn about the
composer with our Hey Kids, Meet the Composer biography, and then follow up with
activity pages including a composer word search, Meet the Composer Job Application,
and coloring page.

Word Search
The composer word search is designed to build reading skills, so it does not include
the search words on the worksheet. Students must search for keywords in the
composer biography to find the words they feel are important about the composer. If
they have trouble finding them, the search words included are below.

Coloring Page
Want to introduce kids to recordings of composer masterworks? Give them a coloring
