The COVID-19 pandemic brought us a great challenge and gave us so many problems and it

affected so many citizens as well as our industry that includes the Micro and Micro- environment
factors. One of these Micro-environment factors is the suppliers. Suppliers provide resources to business
like raw material, machinery or equipment and the likes and it can gives an entity a positive impact to its
performance however, since our President declares a total lockdown to most of the cities and
establishments, it may delay the production of the goods that the consumers needs, and may decrease
the sales of a business. Second are the employees. They are the one who also give a huge contribution
to a business, but since were in the midst of pandemic, the safetiness and health is not guaranteed that
is why many of them chose to use the method “work from home” , but how about those who work from
the factories, those who are in “No work, No pay” jobs, it can only lead them being unemployed. Lastly
are the customers. Customers are considered as a consumer, all of us are consumers, but not all
consumers can acquire all their necessities because of the limited products, doesn’t have enough money
and of course the safetiness which is due to the pandemic.

One of the factors of the Macro-environment that the COVID-19 gave an impact is the Economic
Forces. One of the problems that the pandemic caused us is the Panic Buying, the supply cannot cope up
the demand of the products which the people needs the most such as alcohol and face mask. And it
really gave the industry a great problem on how they will make the product available which the
customer needs. Next factor is the Socio-Cultural and Demographic Forces. As what the pandemic
caused us, the society has no choice but to adjust to the new normal, the social distancing, the wearing
of mask every time, for example, our online summer class, despite of the pandemic, education must still
continue that’s why taking alternative actions like the online summer class is in consideration. Lastly is
the Ecology and Physical Forces. As what our president said on his election speech which is the “change
is coming” well the change really came, literally. A change where the society must consider, where
everyone must adjust, for the safetiness and health.
