1. https://psychhealthandsafety.org/asw/ The Antidepressant Skills Workbook (ASW) is based on


scientific research about strategies that work best in managing depression and making it less likely to recur. It
includes an overview of depression, explains to effectively manage it, and gives a step-by-step guide to changing
patterns and behaviours that trigger depression.
2. https://psychhealthandsafety.org/dwd Dealing with Depression is a workbook for teens that
explains depression and teaches 3 main antidepressant skills to help overcome or prevent mood problems. The
material is user-friendly and engaging for youth.
3. https://cpa.ca/corona-virus/psychservices/ The Canadian Psychological Association has a list of
registered psychology practitioners donating some of their time to provide psychological services to front line
health care providers who may be feeling stressed, overwhelmed or distressed by being on the front lines of this
health crisis.
4. https://www.onlinetherapyuser.ca/wellbeing-program The Wellbeing Course is an online
course providing free education and guidance on simple but effective techniques for managing depression and/or
anxiety. This class is made up of 5 easy to understand lessons that are accessed online and take 8 weeks to
complete.

1. Sanvello – Self-help and self-care for anxiety, stress, and depression


based on CBT and mindfulness tools. (Free)
2. HeadSpace – Guided meditations to help with anxiety, depression,
sleep troubles, focus, and basic mindful practice. (Free to download
with option to subscribe)
Emergencies

If you or someone you know are feeling suicidal or in a crisis please


seek help immediately.
• If in need of immediate help, call emergency services: 911
(Ambulance/Police/Fire Service).
• If able, go to the local hospital emergency department.
• Contact a Mental Health Worker via Healthline for advice by calling
811 (24 hours a day).
