My Philosophy of Education as a Secondary Teacher

I believe that every student

 is unique and have something special he/she can offer in the classroom

 should be viewed as individual who can contribute, share and gain knowledge with each

other in the classroom

 is not mindless individuals just waiting to be filled with knowledge by their teachers

I believe that as a teacher, my duty is to perform my tasks well in order to help the student

develop the knowledge they have by:

 having a good relationship to them in able to build a strong foundation of understanding,

respect, and trust

 allowing them the opportunity to see mistakes and imperfections as part of their learning

process

 providing them with the tools to be successful in an information literate society

 letting them express themselves without taking advanced beyond limitations

 create a classroom that is welcoming and accessible to all students and celebrates their

diversity

 being dedicated to a lifelong learning and desire to make contributions to the field of

education
