Travel Criteria: For Passengers departing from Dubai to India

• i. Indian nationals or nationals of Nepal or Bhutan stranded in UAE or in any country in South America or Africa;
• ii. All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders and Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders holding passports of any
country; and
• iii. UAE nationals and foreign nationals (from any country in South America or Africa only) intending to visit India for any
purpose (including their dependents on appropriate category of dependent visa) except those on Tourist Visa.
• Passengers traveling on flights from India to UAE should be destined for UAE or any country in South America or Africa only.
Similarly, only passengers originating from UAE or any country in South America or Africa should be allowed to travel on
flights from UAE to India.

Features include :
− All international passengers should (i) submit self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal
(www.newdelhiairport.in) before the scheduled travel (ii) upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report. This test
should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to undertaking the journey. Each passenger shall also submit a
declaration with respect to authenticity of the report and will be liable for criminal prosecution, if found otherwise.
− All international passengers should also give an undertaking on the portal or otherwise to Ministry of Civil Aviation,
Govt. of India, through concerned airlines before they are allowed to undertake the journey that they would abide
by the decision of the appropriate government authority to undergo home quarantine/ self-monitoring of their
health for 14 days, or as warranted.
− Arrival in India without negative report shall be allowed only for those traveling to India in the exigency of death in
the family. If they wish to seek such exemption they shall apply to the online portal (www.newdelhiairport.in) at
least 72 hours before boarding. The decision taken by the government as communicated on the online portal will
be final.
− All passengers to download Aarogya Setu app on their mobile devices.
− All international arriving passengers travelling to India must register online “AIR SUVIDHA” digital Self-Reporting
Form through https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration to declare their health and consent
for self-paid institutional quarantine.
− All international travellers coming/transiting from flights originating from United Kingdom, Europe and Middle East
as described in the scope above should submit Self-Declaration Form (SDF) for COVID on the online Air Suvidha
portal (www.newdelhiairport.in) before the scheduled travel and will be required to declare their travel history (of
past 14 days
− Boarding is permitted only those passengers who have filled in the SDF on the Air Suvidha portal and uploaded the
negative RT-PCR test report.
− All the travellers arriving from/transiting through flights originating in United Kingdom, Europe or Middle East
shall be mandatorily subjected to self-paid confirmatory molecular tests on arrival at the Indian airports
concerned (port of entry). Entry made in the SDF regarding telephone number and address would be reconfirmed.
− Keeping in mind the testing requirements for passengers from UK, Brazil and South Africa, who have to take
connecting flights, transit time of a minimum 6-8 hours at the entry airport (in India) while booking the tickets for
connecting flights.
• Check -in would be permitted only to passenger who submits uploaded self-declaration form (SDF) and negative RT-PCR
test report . All passengers MUST carry Two (2) physical print outs each of self-declaration form (SDF) and negative COVID-
19 RT-PCR report and present at the time of check in. The self-declaration form filled online shall be shown to the airport
health staff on arrival
• We have partnered with NMC Healthcare, Health Hub Al Futtaim and Zulekha Hospitals for passengers travelling from the
UAE to India to take COVID-19 RT-PCR Test at a special rate by presenting air ticket and ID Proof.

Travel Criteria: For Passengers departing from India to Dubai

• i. UAE nationals.
• ii. ICA /GDRFA approved UAE residents.
• iii. Any Indian national or national of Nepal or Bhutan destined for UAE or any country in South America or Africa only and
holding a valid visa of the destination country. It would be for the airlines concerned to ensure that there is no travel
restriction for Indian/Nepalese/Bhutanese nationals to enter the destination country before issue of ticket/boarding pass
to the Indian/Nepalese/Bhutanese passenger.
• Depending on your UAE visa, you need to apply to either the GDRFA or ICA for approval to return
• UAE residents who have Dubai issued residence visa must obtain GDRFA approval
https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/Smart_OTCServicesPortal/ReturnPermitService.aspx. Without approval to return to Dubai,
you will not be accepted for travel. GDRFA approval is only for Dubai residence visa holders
• Residents holding residence visa issued through any other emirate are required to upload their Emirates ID number,
passport, and nationality on https://uaeentry.ica.gov.ae/ to verify the authenticity of their travel. If you get a message in
Green then you can proceed with the completion of your travel procedures. Without approval to return to Dubai, you will
not be accepted for travel.
• If you hold a UAE resident visa and have stayed outside of the country for more than 180 days, you will be allowed to
enter the UAE until 31 March 2021.
• Tourists with valid visa are not required to get any approvals from GDRFA or ICA. Indian nationals who are intending to
travel to Dubai on visit or tourist visa or desire to obtain visa on arrival are permitted to travel if they are in possession of
a valid return ticket. The passengers must be holding valid return tickets and not necessarily a single / conjunction ticket.
• Visitors and tourists must have valid medical insurance before departing for Dubai
• Seamen shall be allowed to travel with all necessary documents such as passport, CDC booklet, Guarantee letter, Ok to
Board Letter and should be in possession of valid 96Hrs transit visa. Seamen intending to travel beyond UAE are currently
not permitted to travel on our flights
• Passengers must carry a negative PCR certificate in printed form, from a government approved laboratory in India (ICMR)
or a certified designated laboratory which is available on

• Effective from 31st January 2021 the following conditions must be met for all flights to/from DXB .
UAE residents, GCC citizens & tourists arriving to Dubai
From 31 January 2021, all passengers arriving into Dubai from any point of origin (GCC countries included) must hold a
negative COVID 19 PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.
Passengers arriving into Dubai from certain countries will be required to take another PCR test on arrival at Dubai
International airport. Children under the age of 12 and passengers who have a moderate or severe disability are exempt
from this test. If travelling from one of the Countries listed below a second test will also occur upon arrival in Dubai: India
and other countries - Angola, Guinea, Kenya, Somaliland, Tunisia, Djibouti, Iran, Lebanon, South Africa, Uganda, Egypt,
Iraq, Morocco, South Sudan, Zambia, Eritrea, Israel, Nigeria, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Rwanda, Syria,
Ghana, Jordan, Senegal, Tanzania, Croatia, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Cyprus, Hungary, Montenegro, Slovakia, Czech
Republic, Malta, Romania, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Nepal, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan,
Turkmenistan, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippine, Uzbekistan, Argentina, Brazil and Chile
UAE Nationals from all countries arriving to Dubai
All UAE Nationals are Not required to conduct PCR test before arriving at DXB. PCR Test on arrival only.
Transit passengers from all countries arriving at Dubai
All transiting passengers are not required to present a COVID 19 PCR test certificate unless it is mandated by their final
destination or transiting from the 58 countries through Angola, Guinea, Kenya, Somaliland, Tunisia, Djibouti, Iran, Lebanon,
South Africa, Uganda, Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, South Sudan, Zambia, Eritrea, Israel, Nigeria, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia,
Ivory Coast, Rwanda, Syria, Ghana, Jordan, Senegal, Tanzania, Croatia, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Cyprus, Hungary,
Montenegro, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Malta, Romania, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Nepal, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh,
Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippine, Uzbekistan, Argentina, Brazil and Chile.

• Suspension imposed on air transport services and/or inbound passenger movement to Dubai from South Africa, is
extended for further period of fourteen (14) days effective from Friday 26th February 2021, 00:01LT. This decision does
not apply to the members of the diplomatic missions , UAE nationals and those passengers exempted and/or granted
permission to enter UAE by the appropriate authorities. In addition, please be advised that, this decision does not apply
to freighter operation.
• Suspension imposed on air transport services and/or inbound passenger movement to Dubai from Nigeria, is extended
for further period of fourteen days (14 days), effective from 26th February 2021 / 00:01 LT. The above does not apply to
the following Members of the diplomatic missions and Businessmen, they must present negative PCR test certificate from
one of the (attached) authorized laboratories in Nigeria, UAE nationals. Passengers exempted and/or granted permission
to enter UAE by the appropriate authorities and Freighter operation.
• As per the advisory issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the copy of the COVID-19 PCR test report submitted by
passengers must have QR code linking to their original test report. Also, the time of sample collection (date and time of
sample collection) and sample reporting (date and time of test result) must be mentioned accurately. These enhanced
measures for PCR test report authentication will be implemented with immediate effect.
• The Certificate issued by the medical facilities to be authentic and is not altered.
• The Certificate / Report must be for a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test only. Other test certificates including antibody
tests and home testing kits are not accepted in Dubai.
• SMS and Digital certificates are not accepted.
• Passengers with expired COVID19 Certificates would not be accepted.
• The Certificate / Report issued should be duly signed and stamped by relevant authorities and must only be in English or
Arabic.
• Hand written certificates are not permitted.
• Damaged Negative COVID19 Certificates are also not to be accepted.
• For Indians with Tourist Visa of UAE and travelling to UAE - Passport and related documents accepted for entry must have
a minimum 6 month validity from the arrival date.
• Regulatory authorities in Dubai has recommended to reject the RT-PCR test reports from the following laboratories
- Suryam Lab in Jaipur
- Dr P. Bhasin Pathlab (P) Ltd. in Delhi
- Noble Diagnostic Centre in Delhi
- 360 Diagnostic & Health. Services
• Issuance of boarding card at the departing airport in India is subject to API - UAE approval. Airline reserves the right to
refuse travel till approval is accorded by UAE Government.
• If the test result is positive, you will be required to undergo isolation and follow the Dubai Health Authority guidelines.
Passengers with positive results must quarantine for 14 days, and bear all treatment expenses.
• All Passengers must download the COVID-19 Dubai Smart App (from Apple App Store or from Google Play Store) on their
device before entering Dubai.

• Travelers will have to undergo another PCR test upon arrival at Sharjah Airport regardless of their earlier negative report
• All incoming passengers must subject themselves to self-quarantine at their residence until the results of their PCR test
are notified. In case the result is negative, is entitled to move, and if the result is positive, passengers concerned will have
to undergo home/health quarantine up to a period stipulated by the UAE Ministry of Health and Community Protection.
• In case of a positive result of PCR test, the period of medical isolation is 14 days, with passengers or their sponsors
bearing the expenses of treatment and isolation. In the event of non-compliance of quarantine restrictions, they will be
liable to strict legal action and penalties.
• All Passengers must download and register on the ALHOSN App
• Issuance of boarding card at the departing airport in India is subject to API - UAE approval. Airline reserves the right to
refuse travel till approval is accorded by UAE Government.
• Self-health declaration to be filled and submitted during check-in
• Both tourists and residents must ensure that they have adequate health insurance that covers all costs of treatment and
isolation until the results of their PCR medical test arrive.
• Tourists to have:
- A valid return ticket. The passengers must be holding valid return tickets and not necessarily a single / conjunction ticket.
- International medical insurance.
- All tourists are required to have a PCR test result that is negative, no longer than 96 hours before arriving at Sharjah
Airport. Proof must be presented upon entering Sharjah Airport and the same examination must be completed upon arrival
to Sharjah Airport
Tourists with valid visa are not required to get any approvals from GDRFA or ICA.

• Arrivals from all destinations must have a local UAE Mobile Number starting with 050, 056, 057 or 058 for PCR track and
trace purposes. Without a UAE Mobile Number, passengers will not be allowed into the UAE. For your convenience,
Telecom providers have booths in the Arrival PCR Testing Zones, so that a UAE SIM Card can be purchased, if needed.

under 12 years are exempted from pre-Covid test.

holding a valid visa of the destination country. It would be for the airlines concerned to ensure that there is no travel
restriction for Indian/Nepalese/Bhutanese nationals to enter the destination country before issue of ticket/boarding pass
to the Indian/Nepalese/Bhutanese passenger.

• SMS and Digital certificates are not accepted.
• Passengers with expired COVID19 Certificates would not be accepted.
• The Certificate / Report issued should be duly signed and stamped by relevant authorities and must only be in English or
Arabic.
• Hand written certificates are not permitted.
• The certificate issued by the medical facilities to be authentic and is not altered.
• The Certificate / Report must be for a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test only. Other test certificates including antibody
tests and home testing kits are not accepted
• Damaged Negative COVID19 Certificates are also not to be accepted.
• Self-health declaration to be filled and submitted during check-in. Children under the age of 12 and passengers who have
a moderate or severe disability are exempt from this test.
• Issuance of boarding card at the departing airport in India is subject to API - UAE approval. Airline reserves the right to
refuse travel till approval is accorded by UAE Government.

Travel Criteria : For Passengers departing from India to Abu Dhabi

• All Passengers must download and register on the ALHOSN App


• Passengers are required to take Mandatory Institutional/Home of 10 days Quarantine on arrival at Abu Dhabi. You will be
provided with a medically-approved wristband for the duration of your quarantine, after you clear immigration.
• Passengers holding diplomatic passports and ii) Passengers below the age of 18 years are exempted from 10 days
quarantine.
• The residents of Abu Dhabi with independent residing facilities are being given home quarantine for and not institutional
quarantine. The residents need to show the copy of the Tenancy Contract to the Health Authorities on arrival.
• Unaccompanied Minors are acceptable at Abu Dhabi Airport and being allowed to be handed over to the parents residing
in Abu Dhabi. Unaccompanied Minors are exempted from Institutional Quarantine

Travel regulations are changing frequently. Passengers be requested to check for the most recent information before
travel-this is really important to keep them safe and avoid any disruptions in journey. Passengers are required to come to
the airport with the appropriate travel documents for their destination.
