“Timun Emas”

Once upon a time, there was a young lady named Mbok

Rondho. She lived alone, because of her husband died. She very wanted
to have a child. One day, she meet giant... to ask a child. Giant gived
her cucumber seed. Giant said ”if the cucumber seed was planted it will
be a big cucumber in the inside of the big cucumber,there will beautiful
baby”. Giant said again, “I want to take her when she is 16 years old!”
Mbok Rondho allowed. After that, mbok rondo went home and She
planted the cucumber seed in front of her house. In the next day, mbok
rondo showed a big cucumber in front of her house. When she opened
the big cucumber, there was a beautiful baby named Timun Emas.
Mbok Rondho very loved her baby and she sang, “I love you, you love
me, we are happy family”, and then Timun Emas grew to be a
beautiful lady.

She was 16 years old. One day mbok rondo said to timun
mas, “Timun Emas, you must go. Giant wants to take you! Bring this
shrip paste and go quickly!!” Timun Emas was very shocked, “What
happend mom? I don’t know, please tell me..” Mbok Rondho explained
her meeting with giant, and after that Timun Emas said “Ok mom,
don’t worry! I’ll go quickly!” and that In the next day, Timun emas
went to the jungle. In the jungle, Giant searched her. “Timun Emas,
Timun Emas! Where are you?” Timun Emas was very shocke and very
scared. And when giant found her, timun emas threw her terasi to giant.
And suddenly giant sank in a muddy lake. Finally giant died there.
After that, Timun Emas came back to her house and lived happiness
with her mom.
