b) Why is accounting important in a company?

Accounting plays a vital role in running a business because it helps you track income
and expenditures, ensure statutory compliance, and provide investors, management, and
government with quantitative financial information which can be used in making
business decisions.
b) What are the functions of an accountant in a company?

Preparing and maintaining important financial reports. Preparing tax returns and


ensuring that taxes are paid properly and on time. Evaluating financial
operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategize solutions,
and help organizations run efficiently.

c) What does the accountant have to follow to be legal?

There are a number of responsibilities that come along with typical accounting
processes, including making preparations and computations for tax returns,
organizing and maintaining financial records, and assessing current financial
operations to implement new best practices. As the U.S. Bureau of Labor

because I did not know this area, because when I went to study my last two years at

school I started to see it but they did not finish teaching me and that made me curious

b)Which function do you like the most?

I don't really have a favorite yet because they all seem good and interesting to me

c)What do you plan to work at when you graduate?

I plan to work in the accounting of a company, show that company everything I have

learned throughout my study
