Summary: Biblical doctrine is the foundation of our Christian life and ministry.

Reaction: Preach doctrine, preach all the doctrine that you know, and learn forever more and more, but
preach it always, not that men may believe it, but that men may be saved by believing it.

Reflection: When you teach doctrine, you follow the example of our Lord. Jesus, the Master Teacher and
our teaching model, was a doctrinal teacher.

Personal Application: As a Seventh day Adventist we must need to be well known our doctrine, so that
we can able also to share the gospel to other people as a follower and disciple to him.

Summary: We must study the Bible for the greater purpose of learning how to live.

Reaction: We let the Word of God become the aim of teaching, rather than making our aim the building
up of people and making them mature in Christ.

Reflection: My reflection of this chapter is studying the bible devotionally is very important because it
can lead us to go directly to our Lord Jesus our Savior.

Personal Application: Before we can consistently teach the Bible to change the lives of our students, we
must first learn to study the Bible devotionally.

Summary: Many have attempted to define parables in a popular manner that makes it easier for people
to remember.

Reaction: My reaction on this chapter one good reason for teaching the parables is enduring quality that
they possess.

Reflection: My reflection it is important to interpret parables in the historic context in which they were
told, rather than impose our contemporary cultural models, and balance is an important concept when
it comes to interpreting parables.

Personal Application: My personal application on this chapter of why we must need studying parables, it
because it can help us to be an easy to share the word of God.
