The 1987 Philippine Constitution and Republic Act No. 10533, otherwise known as the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 and DepEd Order No. 41, s. 2018 mandates DepEd to provide Filipino learners with appropriate and relevant educational opportunities. while recognizing their cultural context which can be achieved through contextualization of the curriculum, Pursuant to this mandate and in view of strengthening the delivery of Madrasah ALIVE Curriculum, this Office, through the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD), shall conduct 2 Regional Virtual Orientation Workshop on the Development of Contextualized Learning Activity Sheets for the Madrasah Education Program on December 1-3, 2020 via Zoom through this link https://bit.ly/Virtual MEPWorkshop. 2. The activity aims to: a. capacitate Muslim teachers/asatidz to gain knowledge on the principles and techniques in writing contextualized learning activity sheets using the Enhanced Elementary Madrasah Curriculum for Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) learners; b. develop contextualized learning activity sheets; and c._ enhance asatidz’ efficiency and effectiveness as teachers in ALIVE.
