Once there was an affluent businessman who had two sons.

The older son was smarter and was

more honed in taking charge of the business. He lived an extravagant life and was therefore more
exposed to the public eye. Being the eldest somehow transferred a sense of condescension to his
personality. He became a very conceited person who desires everything to go his way. He was as hard
as a rock, adamant that his principles were always righteous. The younger son, on the other hand, was
the complete opposite of the older son. He was rather simple. Due to his brother being the centre of the
spotlight, he grew up to be a very humble and reserved person. He loved his father and was, in fact, the
mere companion of his father during his last days. After the death of their father, the older son became
more arrogant and acquisitive. He used his sly business tactics and extensive connections so that he
could get his father’s Rolls-Royce, private jet, six-hectare mansion, the entire company, and almost
everything else that was owned by his father. The only thing left for the younger son was the
abandoned farm where his father spent his childhood, the small house in the farm and some of his
father’s personal stuffs. One of those stuffs was a small mahogany chest that was mysteriously heavy
despite its tiny size. He wanted to know what was inside but unfortunately, the chest was locked and
the only way to open it was to use a key. Out of his curiosity, the younger son decided to search for the
key. Since his older brother had decided to kick him out of his life, there was no other choice but to
utilize what’s left with him. His surging passion and faith drove him to, little by little, rejuvenate the
deserted land that was the foundation of his father’s juvenile bliss. While he was busy searching for the
key and rebuilding his father’s haven, the older son was also busy splurging his father’s money on
vices and gambles. After years of taking everything for granted, finally, bankruptcy knocked on the
door. The esteemed heir who owned his father’s kingdom suddenly turned into a gaunt pauper who
hardly resembles the prince he once was. The kingdom that was built by his father slowly fell apart.
Everything was shattered into pieces. The older son’s paradise suddenly morphed into an underworld
he could never bear. He suffered badly and his heart was agonized for he knew that he was too late. No
matter how hard he tries, he could never see the light ever again. On the other hand, the younger son
was seeking for a key that would eventually reveal something he would never expect to have. After
successfully re-establishing his father’s childhood home, the younger son unexpectedly found
something in the process. He finally found the key to the small mahogany chest. It was left in the small
house in the farm all this time. He used the key to open the chest and behold, it was the diamond his
father had been telling them since they were just kids. It was the diamond that was owned by their
forefathers, the diamond that was passed on from generation to generation. Because of his willpower,
he had access to the most precious stone in the whole world. He sought, therefore he found. His
perseverance and determination led him to possess something not everyone can have. His
resourcefulness and patience made the whole farm bear crops and fruits that filled the remote land with
bright colours.
The older son used to have everything, but his immorality and foolishness made him lose
everything. The younger son used to have nothing, but his pure and genuine heart gave him everything.
The kingdom of God is like the diamond inside the mahogany chest. In order to have it, you’ll have to
search for the key that'll open the chest. It's going to be a wild ride, but eventually you'll comprehend
its worth once you have the most precious stone in your bare hands.
