Learning Outcomes and Outline

At the end of the unit you will be able to:

o reflect on the use of curriculum documents and science textbooks to re-visit teachers’
existing practices;
o explore the new SNC curriculum and science textbooks;
o demonstrate the use of alignment/connection between the curriculum and textbooks; and,
o analyse the key features and elements of the curriculum and textbooks using the curriculum,
assessment, and instruction alignment tool.
You will cover some of the unit content during your training through Microsoft TEAMS. You will
cover the rest of the content, on your own, through LMS.
