    AXIAL: T2,T1
    Bilateral femoral head altered signal intensity with serpinginous margins seen.
    There is about 75% involvement on the right and about 50% involvement on the left side.
    There is mild alteration in the right femoral head contour. The left femoral head contour is maintained.

    Right femoral head and neck edema seen.


    Mild joint effusion seen on the right.
    The left joint space is normal.
    Small subchondral cyst seen in the right acetabulum.
    The left acetabulum is normal.
    The muscles and neurovascular bundles are normal.

    Both iliac bones are normal.


    The sacrum and sacroiliac joints are normal.

    IMPRESSION:
    Bilateral femoral head avascular necrosis - FICAT stage IIle on the right and stage lle on the
    left.
