WE EXPERIENCE HIS BEAUTY WITH OUR FIVE SENSES WHEN WE INTERACT WITH HIS
CREATION.

WE EXPERIENCE HIS BEAUTY EMOTIONALLY WITH LOVE, HOPE, MERCY AND FEAR IN OUR
HEARTS AND MINDS.

WHEN WE STUDY THE LIFE OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) AND HIS COMPANIONS, WE
EXPERIENCE ALLAH'S BEAUTY IN ACTION.

WHAT BEAUTY IS MOST LOVED BY ALLAH (SWT)?

The Prophet (SAW) also says “Allah does not look at your appearance or your
possessions; but He looks at your heart and your deeds.” [Muslim]

Take a look at your answers from the previous lesson and note if the items you
listed were more focused on outward appearance or inner characteristics. Allah
(SWT) loves both but we now know HIS preference. Take a moment to revisit and
add to your answers. Next is a new sheet to work with.

BELLAMY'S INSIGHTS
1 - Aligning ourselves with Allah (SWT) brings joy, comfort, ease and peace of mind.

2 - Our personality and character get refined as we sincerely strive to practice Islam.

3 - Our thoughts, our words and our actions have creative power. We tend to be
more harsh with ourselves. I encourage us all to be kind and gentle yet firm with
ourselves first. Show ourselves patience and mercy. If we can nurture our selves
then we can nurture others.

BONUS - One of the things that I LOVE about Islam, is the concept of purpose.
Society has hyped up this drive and desire to discover one's purpose. People are
wondering what life is really all about. They are searching and seeking ways to find
meaning in their existence. It was to my delight and relief when I discovered this
ayah:
"I have created the jinn and humankind only for My worship." Quran 51:56

So my beloved sisters, you now know your purpose. My question to you is

HOW WILL YOU WORSHIP?

WHAT TALENTS HAVE YOU BEEN BLESSED WITH THAT YOU CAN SHARE WITH
HUMANITY AS YOU SERVE ALLAH (SWT)?
