Covid-19. What we've learned. What our politicians refuse to learn.

1- Sweden was right. Sweden is still right.

2- 95% of infected people are asymptomatic. 3- Asymptomatic people rarely infect
others.
4- Herd immunity is real at 20% antibody positive in a geographic area.
5- 80% of people may be immune already.
6- Many people had Tcell immunity which cross reacted from other coronaviruses and
which will last for decades.
7- Number of cases don't matter, hospitalization and deaths do.
8- Increase in number of cases toward the end of a pandemic in which we are now
does not mean increased hospitalizations or deaths.
9- Lockdowns only hurt people and increase the deaths by exacerbating other
illnesses .
10- Reinfection, if at all, is very, very rare.
11- For most people of working age, Covid19 is no different than the flu. For
healthy people under 50, it is less dangerous than the flu.
12- Children don't get sick and are immune by cross-reacting Tcells because of
their thymus.

Based on what I've learned how would I change our policies?

1- PRETEND THIS IS THE FLU. TREAT IT AS THE SAME, EXCEPT FOR THOSE OVER 70.
2- Immediately open all schools. No masks. No distancing. If a child is sick
stay home. Teachers who don't want to be in class can teach on Zoom but students
have to be in class with a TA.
3- Reduce testing. Especially in young people. Do not test children. Testing
causes panic. Testing merely paralyzes. Stop the insanity of retesting.
4- Open up all businesses except those which house people over 70.
5- Protect only the sick and the elderly. Everyone else go back to life.
6- Masks only if symptomatic. This is what we do each year with the flu. If
someone walks in with flu symptoms, we give them a mask and we wear one ourselves.
7- Vaccine only for the high risk. Not for low risk people. Not now.
