Dear Chukwueloka,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I will be unable to accompany you on the vacation to Paris as
planned. I have been so excited about this trip that I had already researched on fun activities and even
booked a tour of the Eiffel tower for us, but unfortunately, I will be unable to proceed on it as a result of
the current security situation in my state.

Let me explain further. In the past weeks, there has been an increasing number of physical attacks from
a terrorist group in my state. As a result of this, the government has shut down all borders and imposed
a dusk to dawn curfew daily for the next two weeks. This has inhibited all the travel plans I had.

Would you mind if I contacted the travel agent to reschedule our reservation? We could fix the trip
towards the middle of April when the security situation would have stabilized in my state. Also, it will be
more fun to go shortly after the Easter celebrations as there will be less tourists around. I can’t wait to
experience the beautiful memories we will create together.
