1. Much of economic stability in the country today depends on agriculture. Climate change
adaptation has always been a means to adjust to today’s’ changing world and gender
roles have become essential in every household. According to Feldstein et al, Gender is
one of the socio-economic variables useful in analyzing the roles, responsibilities,
constraints, opportunities and incentives of people involved in sustaining livelihood
systems. Gender roles are based on learned behavior as a response to socio-economic
and environmental pressures and conditions.

The article has a formal registers because it includes polished speech, and precise
vocabulary. The tone of the author is impartial towards his/her insights where he/she
impart unbiased; neutral and following certain objective.
2. Everyone needs a best friend in her lifetime. She needs somebody that she can trust and
go to with her problems. A best friend should be there for you all the time, no matter
what the situation may be. In my case, I have known my best friend for my entire life. My
best friend happens to be my younger sister, Brittany. She is only thirteen months
younger than I am, so we are very close. Having Brittany as my best friend has made me
into the person I am today. She has taught me how to trust people, how to resolve my
problems, and how to open up and express my feelings

The article’s registers is informal which seems like a literary article telling stories in a
first person point of view, it’s seems like the author is having a casual conversation to
his/her readers. The tone of the author is intimately loving towards her subject where he
possesses great affection and showing intense, deep concern.

between an authority and a civil person. Formality of registers in such conversation helps
give more seniority and authority to somebody’s who is talking. While tone is serious,
forcedly-frank having a thought of a matter-of-fact and formality at the same time.

4. Most people who get flu will recover in a few days to less than two weeks, but some
people will develop complications (such as pneumonia) as a result of flu, some of which
can be life-threatening and result in death. Sinus and ear infections are examples of
moderate complications from flu, while pneumonia is a serious flu complication that can
result from either influenza virus infection alone or from co-infection of flu virus and
bacteria. Other possible serious complications triggered by flu can include inflammation
of the heart (myocarditis), brain (encephalitis) or muscle (myositis, rhabdomyolysis)
tissues, and multi-organ failure (for example, respiratory and kidney failure). Flu virus
infection of the respiratory tract can trigger an extreme inflammatory response in the
body and can lead to sepsis, the body’s life-threatening response to infection. Flu also
can make chronic medical problems worse. For example, people with asthma may
experience asthma attacks while they have flu, and people with chronic heart
disease may experience a worsening of this condition triggered by flu.

thoughts about certain health concerns that may be used by a certain individual in the
field of medicine or just informing the public by a fact. The tone of the article is
informative and it’s somewhat give instructions and educationally helpful.
