INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES

         Identify all public health components in the organization

         Know which data are acceptable for analysis and which to reject, while giving
reasons at each step
         Prepare structured forms for audit and other data collection tools; as well as
identifying the areas where audit can be done and participate in such activities
         Assist in and prepare in-depth interview guides, and develop appropriate
questionnaires. Familiarize with focus group discussions where necessary.
         Identify areas where monitoring and evaluation are needed and familiarize
with such techniques
         Be familiar with techniques for managing human, material and financial
resources and the tools that go with them
         Prepare work plan and job description in the organization
         Identify the different types of evaluations that have been used in the
organization
         Participate and identify different ways of report writing
         Familiarize with routine procedures in the treatment of files in a public health
organization
         Participate and organize the management of a public health team
         Familiarize with other public health determinants
         Write an internship report
