Tourist in a shark attack

Simon Donnell, 17, from Belfast escaped from a shark attack yesterday. Simon was on holiday in
Florida with a group of friends. One day they all got together and went out in a small boat to see
sharks. The sea was quiet and calm, “Simon said”, and for the first two hours we didn’t see any
sharks at all. The boat was pulling bag of dead fish behind it to attract sharks but none came. “We
were laughing about our bad luck” .When suddenly everything changed. I noticed that four or five
sharks were swimming around us, I got up and went over the side of the boat. The boat moved
quite slowly and the water was clear. I was looking into the water when suddenly a huge white
shark appeared. The shark was swimming fast and it crashed into the boat. Everybody screamed
and cried. But suddenly the shark disappeared into the blue water. It was a small boat and we
were really lucky to get away from such a big shark.
