2&5 SREEDHAREEYAM soy Eye of Ayurveda EYE EXERCISES |. Palming: - rub the palm till it become warm and place the palms on the closed eyes. Keep it for 30 seconds. Repeat it for 3-5 times. Do itn between every eye exercises. . Eye Ball Movements:- move the eyes 6 times in a. Upand down . Both the sides b. . ont paces it a 4 J - . Thumb Gazing:- gaze at the tip of one thumb ‘and move the hand and eyes 6 times in 1 t =—- => a. Upand down — b. Both the sides c. Rotation in clockwise and anti-clockwise . Point gazing:- gaze at a point in front and move the head 6 times in a. Up and down | i. P= — b. Both the sides c. Rotation in clockwise and anti-clockwise . Ball Exercise:- a. Hold the ball in one hand and toss it from one hand to another hand making a half circle. Head moves naturally and eyes should follow the ball. b. Toss the ball on the ground and catch it at eye level. . Candle exercise:- Sit3 ft away from lighted candle ensuring the flame at the same level of eye ball. Concentrate on the candle flame and count from 1 to 100 in normal speed. Pressure points: - Apply moderate pressure onthe point using index finger or thumb for 2-3 minute, The points are:- ._ Inner side of the cheek bone Beside the bridge of the nose, the inner edge of each eye ‘Above your eye and below your eyebrows Between the eyebrows . The small depression on either sides of the eyes Either side of nostrils . Depression in the inferior border of the head on both sides. e@>eangD
