Lystra

Oral Communication Attachment 1

Good morning, I really appreciate being considered for this job. I’m Janna Rodriguez, from SJA.
I've always been fascinated by the English language since I first learned it. Seeing how complex
and vital the English language can be on various aspect of our lives as well as how it is highly
respected in our society. This has been one of my many reasons why I want to teach English. But
not only that I’m inspired to do this, I also believe that I have the proper skills and knowledge
that are suitable for the job.

I am very patient, relaxed, and I have a good temper which I believe are attributes that an English
teacher should possess because teaching English is not simple, and not everyone is fluent in the
language. I also have an effective listening and communication skills that I always express in a
friendly and confident manner. I can also give this job a flexible approach . When it comes to
critical thinking, communication, organization, and leadership, I am always professional. I may
have some time management issues, but I assure you that this will not affect the way I teach or
socialize. Due to my lack of time management abilities, this allowed me to function well under
pressure at any given circumstances. I hope I’m given the chance to showcase my talent at your
school.

Thank you for taking the time out to see me. I’m aware that my experience isn’t perfect for the
job but I do think that the skills I have will bridge the gap and put me in a good stead. I look
forward on learning new things while working here. I’ll eagerly await for your response. Have a
good day.
