Writing Reviews:

Reviews are judgments about the content and quality of something presented to the public. As a
reviewer we have the responsibility to evaluate.

Most common reviews are Books, Films, TV Shows, and Theater, Concerts, Recorded Music, Art Exhibits
and restaurants.

Note: Review and Criticism are not the same, so focus on review.

Points to know before writing a review.

Reviewer should conduct basic research or must try to understand the topic/subject.

Review should be concise and to the point.

Let your readers know what they are getting in term of Pak-China Relationship.
Page 1 should contain the following basic elements:

Title of the Review

Name of the Documentary Film

Production by: Department, Place, Journalists, Authors etc

Length or duration of documentary film

Date the documentary was reviewed

Name of reviewers.

Page 2: Outline of the documentary in one paragraph (What, Where, Why, Who, When, How )

Page 3 and 4: Detail of Documentary Film including different tabs like:

Storyline – Should we believe? If yes then why?

Screenplay – Dialogue was forced or was it believable

Narration or background voice + Translation + Subtitling

Camera work: Different shots

Music: Did it evoke Emotion

Purpose of question:
To know the Pak – China relationship (Past, Present, Future)

To know the geographical locations of both countries

To know the cultures/ traditions of both friends

To learn how to write and summaries the informations.

Why review:
Journalism is all about, News, Views and Reviews.
