If I was to do a startup in India I would choose the Online-Gaming Sector.

Global Scenario:-
According to a report by Accenture, the full value of the gaming industry now exceeds
$300 billion, more than the combined markets for movies and music, driven by a surge in
mobile gaming and an emphasis on social interaction during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The gaming industry has increased by half a billion players in the past three years, totaling
2.7 billion people globally. The report predicts more than 400 million new gamers are
expected by the end of 2023.

Indian Scenario:
India Currently has 622 million internet users in 2020 users which is expected to touch
900 million by 2025, according to a report by IAMAI and Kantar Research, Mobile users
form an overwhelming 85% of the gaming industry, followed by PC users at 11% and
tablet users at 4%.
India is among
the top five mobile gaming markets in the world. The gaming industry is currently valued
at $950 million and is estimated to grow 41% each year. Current situation has proved to
be a boon for gaming industry in India with growth clocking to 50% during lockdown.

With the Make in India Initiative by the government, India has more than 400 gaming
startups and over 90 development centers in India. With an innovative approach, these
technologically savvy startups are creating job opportunities for the youth. Many institutes
across the country are now providing technical courses to become game developers and
designers, in response to the opportunities in the Indian gaming industry.
