Answer: Quantity of oil in the shop = 25 l 650 ml
Quantity of oil sold = 12 l 325 ml
Quantity of oil left in the shop 25 l 650 ml – 12 l 325 ml = 13 l 325 ml

Therefore, quantity of oil left in the shop is 13 l 325ml


9. How much would a bag containing 6 packets of sauce weigh if each packet of sauce weighs 1 kg
265 g?
A. Weight of one sauce packet = 1kg265g
No. of packets = 6
Weight of 6 packets of sauce is = 1kg 265g x 6 = 7kg 590 g

10. Vikram bought 16m 64 cm of lace to put equally around 4 table cloths. How
much lace will be used for each table cloth?
Answer: Total length of lace = 16 m 64cm
No. of table cloths = 4
Length of lace used for each table cloth = 16m64cm ÷ 4 = 4m 16cm
Therefore, 4m16cm of lace will be used for each table cloth.

11. A jug can hold 5 litres of milk. How many cups of 250 mL can be filled?
A : 20 cups ( 5000 ÷ 250 = 20)

12. Multiply 16 L 25 mL by 9
A: 16025 x 9 = 144 L 225ml
13. Divide 40 kg 26 g by 6
A: 40 kg 26 g= 40026g
40026 ÷ 6= 6kg 671g
