UNIVERSITIES SHOULD OFFER A DISCOUNT FOR STUDENTS IN THIS COVID-19
PANDEMIC. DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE WITH THIS OPINION? REASONS.

Some people believe colleges should provide a price-cutting in light of the
recent Covid-19 outbreak, while others disagree. I concur that colleges should
give students rebates.

To begin, not long after the Covid-19 plague prompted colleges and
universities to establish teaching remotely, pupils were inadequate to access
university infrastructure. One clear example is students were missing out on
football and basketball games, student groups, lab and library access, and out-
of-class chats that are all part of the typical college experience. Although
universities want to keep students, professors, and staff safe from the epidemic,
the idea of paying full tuition for online learning still irritates students. As a
result, lowering tuition rates is critical now.

On top of that, students might be impotent to pay tuition fees if the school
does not offer a discount. The covid-19 disease has had a significant influence
on people's lives. Many people have lost their employment, some have had their
wages slashed, and only a portion of the population can retain their income. As
a result, tuition fees would become a hardship for learners from low-income
households. For instance, people who have just lost their employment at a
company may find it arduous to sustain their ordinary life. Therefore, how will
they be able to pay their children's entire tuition? In the long run, tuition
reduction is crucial.
All in all, I am convinced that universities should give their students tuition
discounts. It is also a way for universities to join hands with their students to
overcome the difficulties of the covid-19 epidemic.
