How to manage your time well:

1. Plan ahead and set your goals correctly


- Plan a “to-do-list” ahead of time. As you plan, determine your goals so that
you can finish tasks. Use the SMART method in setting your goals
(Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely.)
2. Prioritize wisely
- Prioritize your tasks according to its importance and/or urgency.
3. Set a time limit for each task (Time Blocking)
- Time blocking is a time management method that asks you to divide your
day into blocks of time. Each block is dedicated to accomplishing a
specific task, or group of tasks.
4. Take a break in between tasks
- It becomes harder to focus when you already feel exhausted or burned out
when you do a lot of tasks. Allow some downtime between tasks to clear
your head and refresh yourself.
5. Be focused
- While doing your tasks, avoid distractions. Close unnecessary browsers,
avoid playing games or opening social media applications, and remove or
shut off your phone to minimize distractions.
6. Be self-aware
- Track your time. Do not consume too much time on one task to avoid
rushing the others.
7. Do not multitask
- Focus on one task at a time. Focusing on more than one task may make
you less productive. Once your attention is divided, tasks may actually
take longer to do or accomplish. Do it one at a time.
8. Create an environment to work
- Find a place where you can work or be productive and be free of
distractions. Surrounding yourself with inspiring decorations may help you
feel enthusiastic and passionate about your work.
9. Eliminate “half-work”
- Finish one task before starting another.
10. Stop procrastinating
- Instead of delaying your tasks, do it while you have time so that your tasks
won’t pile up.
