Matthew 13:44-45
“The kingdom of heaven is like
treasure hidden in a field, which
someone found and hid; then in his
joy he goes and sells all that he has
and buys that field.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is
like a merchant in search of fine
pearls; on finding one pearl of great
value, he went and sold all that he had
and bought it.

Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not store up for yourselves
treasures on earth, where moth and
rust consume and where thieves
break in and steal; but store up for
yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust con-
sumes and where thieves do not
break in and steal. For where your
treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Mark 10:28
Peter began to say to him, “Look, we
have left everything and followed you.”
Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, there is no
one who has left house or brothers or
sisters or mother or father or children or
fields, for my sake and for the sake of the
good news, who will not receive a hun-
dredfold now in this age—houses, broth-
ers and sisters, mothers and children, and
fields, with persecutions—and in the age
