1. Why do some people like decorating?
Well, in genenral, I would have to say that decorating is appealing/ attractive/
interesting to people of all ages, especially stylish/ fashionable young people. You
know, fashionable people want to keep up with the latest trends all the time, and
because trends are changeable, those people always have a need to redecorate
their places/ houses in order to reflect the current/ contemporary culture.
On top of that, I guess people with a good sense of aesthetic may easily get
bored and uninspired if they have to live in fixed surroundings for a long time.
That’s why they would love to explore and experiment with various home décor
styles.

2. Why do some people enjoy volunteering?
Well, from my own observation, volunteer activites are suitable with people of
all ages. However, I recognize a rising/ an increasing number of retired people are
taking part/ participating in different/ various/ numerous types of volunteer. It is
probably/ possibly because nowadays, retired people are still very healthy so they
are capable of doing things which are not physically demanding like volunteering.
On top of that, retirees have plenty of time to spare. That’s why doing volunteer
work may appear as a great way for them to kill a great deal of free time and be
helpful/ contribute to the community simultaneously.
