e·lec·tro·stat·ics

1. The study of stationary electric charges or slow-moving electric charges or fields as opposed to
electric currents.

Cou·lomb's law
1. A law stating that like charges repels and opposite charges attract, with a force proportional to
the product of the charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between
them.

Vacuum permittivity= ε (epsilon) = 5= the electric constant= the ratio of charge that is permitted
on the surface of the conductor, per unit of electric field present in the vacuum.
Εo = q/E
E= F/q = a region around a charged particle or object within which a force would be exerted on other
charged particles or objects.

P = 1.67 × 10^–27 Kgs, E = 9.109^–27 Kgs

 Electric Field. Definition: The region around the electric charge in which the
stress or electric force act is called an electric field or electrostatic field.
 Since the electrostatic field is always directed away from positive charges and
toward negative charges, field lines must go away from positive charges and
toward negative ones.
