It is undeniable that teachers make a significant contribution to the cause of human

education - the basic foundation of society. It can be said that the process of educating
people is like construction work in which the teacher is the overarching contractor and
the students like the mason cooperate suitably.

To begin with, having a solid foundation is a prerequisite for the long-term stability of
the house as well as training learners in knowledge and morality - the ultimate goal of
the educational career. In other words, teachers who are the contractor leading their
students considered as a builder. From that, they can place one brick at a time together
until a tall, strong building of knowledge is completed. As a result, if the house starts
with a fundamental, which is pretty simple, solid, and straightforward, much like the
basic skills we learn in school, it will be strong and withstand strong winds and storms.

In addition, all the various roles of teachers are likely to encounter several troubles to
overcome. One of the common difficulties in terms of construction is that building
materials play a significant role in creating a quality and perfect house. That means
choosing quality materials is also not easy to secure an affordable price. Regarding
teaching, teachers may find it difficult in researching how to teach skills that suit each
student as well as approaching new teaching methods, which could make teachers
under pressure.

Moreover, a teacher indeed takes part in shaping the next generation. In building a
house, a builder aims to accomplish a beautiful construction both inside and outside, so
does teaching. The ultimate goal of this long process is to build generations of students
who are strong in knowledge and beautiful in morality.

In conclusion, a teacher is a profession that requires a lot of specialized knowledge

and fixed qualities. The metaphor about teachers helps us get a greater appreciation of
all the various roles, tasks, and responsibilities of a teacher.
