Romanesque has mostly barrel vaults and some Gothic Architecture has groin vaulted cathedrals

Romanesque architecture has large pillars inside of Gothic Architecture has flying buttresses and few
the building structure supports

Very less decoration on the exteriors Rich in ornamentation such as:

- the use of Garyoles

- Rose Windows

 The Romanesque structures came with heavy Gothic structures had a slender column and overall
frames, thick walls( to bear the weight of the roof) skeleton ( to support the weight with the arches)

Romanesque structures have darker interior Gothic interior has bright light and are airy
because of its small openings because of its huge windows
