My name is Muhammad Irfan

bin azman and im from ummu khaltum class as a lower form 6. I have
been given a duty to give my speech about malaysia’s independence
day or also known as hari merdeka. So what is merdeka. What does
it mean to us. As for me when I heard the word merdeka my mind
went straight to the merdeka parade, our Malaysian flags, freedom,
and lots of love towards each other. I know Such an immaculate
thoughts isn’t it.

Each Independence Day in Malaysia is given a logo and theme,so

what is our theme for this year? Malaysia prihatin. usually a slogan
that promotes ethnic unity. Malaysia has an eclectic mix of Malay,
Indian, and Chinese citizens with different cultures, ideologies, and
religions basically a diverse country. Building a sense of national
unity is a reoccurring theme on Hari Merdeka.

So my philosophy in this matter, we should involves our young

generation to be exposed with Malaysian history and must
contribute to and share in .A dream perhaps, but worthwhile
pursuing, in order to make Merdeka a reality.
