4. Magnetic Materials and Their Properties Dia, Para and Ferro-magnetism,
Ferrites, Magnetic Hysteresis Curve and its utility.
5. Solar energy: Solar radiation and potentiality of solar radiation in India,
uses of solar energy: Solar Cooker, solar water heater, solar photovoltaic
cells, solar energy collector.
