2. Appendix
Appendix A – MTK82xx series the service method and step
一、Observation
It watch that has obvious phenomenon which short circuit first (for instance: Solder joint) ,Weld emptily, cold
welding, leak and weld, weld it by mistake, etc (including IC is welded inside out) ,if hasn’t any ,it should check short
circuit and exclude it.

二. The avometer test (200-107-GF371XC,200-107-JK401XA,200-107-JK371XPthree main board number)

Check if the main board has short circuit by the avometer
1. Whether PIN1 PIN6 PIN7 PIN8 of JP1 position is shorting to grand
2. Check if the LDO IC output pin of board is grand short(LM1117/AP1084 PIN2 is output, 7805 PIN3 is output)
If find the grand short, it should be to deal with it first

三、Turn power on
If two steps have no question and it can turn power on. It has unusual to observe further (like smolder,
overheated). If has observe phenomenon, it should to cut out and find out the reason at once(Most of this kind of
situations are power short to grand or IC is Install in the opposite direction ,etc.it can use the split method
and eliminate it). If has the above phenomenon, it can see the boot-strap picture (LOGO). If has not seen boot-strap
picture, it must to eliminate for the next step.

四、Turn power on and connect

1. Check if PIN8 of JP1 is 4.75~5.25V (Standby voltage)
2. Check if JP1 PIN7 is 4.75~5.25V(Micronas power has voltage)
3. Check if JP1 PIN6 is 11.64~12.36V (DC Power ON)
4. Check if JP1 PIN1 is 23.28~24.72V (DC Power ON)
5. Check LDO 7805 PIN3 output is 4.75~5.25V(Supply for analog tuner)
6. Check if LDO LM1117-3.3 PIN2 has 3.135~3.465V output
7. Check if LDO LM1117-1.8 PIN2 has 1.71~1.89V output
8. Check if LDO AP1084-2.5 PIN2 has 2.375~2.625V
9. Check if LDO AP1084-adj U33 PIN2 has 1.8525~2.0475V output(some machine are for 1.8V, Unify into 1.95V
in the future)
7. Check if JP8 PIN27/28/29/30 are for 4.75~5.25Vor 11.64~12.36V(according to PANEL that is different)

FORM NO:DCD-B01-02A
五、TV,AV,SV,HDTV,VGA,HDMI 輸入沒有訊號 Input TV,AV,SV,HDTV,VGA,HDMI without signal
1. Check whether the signal of every way enters U8
2. If has not shaken, Please check Y1 (27MHz) oscillatorby the oscillograph , if Peripheral circuit of oscillator has
short out, turn on way, component weld by mistake and leak weld.
3. Check whether the signal and power of JP8 are normal.
4. Check whether J3 PIN 2 Backlight is ON
5. Check whether the line material is connected well and Source is correct choice
6. Check whether the oscillator of R109 (27MHz) and has signals and RN27~RN33 has signal output or not( HDMI
test method)
7. Check Whether the oscillator of ATSC MODULE Y1 (25MHz) has signals
8. Check Whether the oscillator of ATSC MODULE X1 (27MHz) has signals
9. Check if the ATSC MODULE U14 MT5351 “ORESET#” RESET is operate( ATSC test method)
10. Check if the AF PIN9 of JP7 has output(200-107-GF371XCboard: PIN1)(NTSC/PAL TUNER test method)
六、CC and V-VHIP test
1. Check if the OSD menu is switch on
2. It is normal to confirm the introduction signal
七、Picture ok,no sound
1. Check the input signal of U22,U23,U24 are correct(it is used the U22,U23 for the 200-107-JK371XP board)
If hasn’t any input signal, please check I/O BOARD part has the situation which short to weld or empty to weld
2. Check if the GPIO7~GPIO1 has HIGH/LOW signal and whether has correspond to its source(it is only use the
GPIO7~GPIO10 for the 200-107-JK371XP board)
3. Check if the U27,U29 has source output/input
4. Check if the PIN5 of the U32 AUDIO AMP. is 3 ~ 6.5V,, and PIN6 is 2 ~ 6.5V
5. Check if the U32 AUDIO AMP has audio output
八、Key PAD abnormal(200-700-GF271BH,200-700-JK401AH,200-700-KF371AH,200-700-SF421AH board)
1. Check if cable is ok
2. Check if the PIN1 of J1 has 5V output
3. Check signal PIN of J1 have HIGHT signal export, if press button that the corresponding PIN have down to
pressure
4. Check whether Keypad Board and peripheral part have cold welding, leak one, fault one
九、IR,LED abnormal
1. Check if cable is OK
2. Check whether there is voltage input, the triode has signal input and it can controlled LED light
3. Check whether LED light damages
4. Check whether IR and peripheral part have cold welding, leak one, fault one
5. Check IR output PIN, IF has source output by the remote control

Appendix G –Test the quality of speaker power

Speaker specifications as follows, the chip of main board can only 15W output, some wave forms will be distorted to
exceed 15W

FORM NO:DCD-B01-02A
1. Single speaker of GF SERIES  27 吋(10W/4Ω) , 32 吋(15W/4Ω) , 37 吋(15W/4Ω)
2. Sound box speaker of GF series  27 吋(15W/4Ω) , 32 吋(20W/4Ω) , 37 吋(20W/4Ω)
3. Sound box speaker of JL series  32 吋(10W/4Ω) , 37 吋(10W/4Ω) , 40 吋(10W/4Ω)
Power test( sound power set to be OFF)
Set up the audio generator to be 1KHz, 0.5Vrms , input AV2 and set volume value to be max., The others turn to
default value, and then test the speaker power

1. The machine required power >= 14W (speaker spec.>=15W)

2. The machine required power= 10W +/- 0.5W (speaker spec=10W) note1
This is Proview product specification, if n there are customers has other demands, it can to adjust the data

note 2
Note1: The machine which has speaker specification of 10W, it can't broken transliteration in 90% of volume
Note 2: The machine which power is greater than chip specification 15W, the wave form can't distorted in
85% of volume
★ At the time of AUDIO test and adjustment, it’s only to test OSD function whether is changed (such as BASS)
,Do not need to test enduring power of stress
