A DAY AT THE OLIVE FARM

 ‫‪Hazel and Majd spent a day in olive farm‬‬

‫هيزل ومجد قضو‪ /‬جلسو‪ /‬قعدو يوم كامال في مزرعة الزيتون‬

Hazel and Majd are sisters

‫ خوات‬/ ‫هزل ومجد اختين‬

 One day, Hazel and Majd go to their grandfathers olive farm

‫ ذهب هزل ومجد الى مزرعه الزيتون مال جدي‬/ ‫في احد االيام سار‬
Hazel and Majd played between the big olive trees

‫هزل ومجد يلعبون بين شجر الزيتون الكبير‬

Hazel and Majd knows it is the season of harvest

‫هزل ومجد يعرفون موعد موسم قطف الزيتون‬

 Hazel saw olive trees has full of olives in black and green

‫ زيتون لونه اخضر واسود‬, ‫هزل يشوف شجر الزيتون مليان‬

Majd and Hazel are tired and went to sleep

‫هزل ومجد تعبانين يريدون ينامون‬

Afternoon, father, mother, grandmother, uncle and aunt came to grandfather’s
olive farm

‫في المساء ابي وامي وجدي وعمي وعمتي سوف ياتون الى مزرعة جدي‬
Father, mother , uncle and aunt together pluck olive from tree

‫ابي وامي وعمي وعمتي يقطفون معا الزيتون من الشجر‬

Father and uncle climbed on the tree and plucked

‫ابي وعمي يتسلقون شجره الزيتون لقطفها‬

 Hazel and Majd wake-up from sleep. Grandmother made tea for all

‫ وجدي سوف يعمل الشاي للجميع‬, ‫هزل ومجد يستقيظون من النوم‬

 Father and uncle take olives in big sacks and went to mill

‫ شوال الى معصرة الزيتون‬/‫ابي وعمي ياخذون الزيتون بكيس كبير‬

 ‫‪They brought big cans of olive oil‬‬

‫ابي وعمي جلبو علب ‪ /‬تنك كبيره لزيت الزيتون‬

 Grandmother, mother and aunt made food with olive oil

‫ يحضورن الطعام بزيت الزيتون‬/ ‫جدي وامي وعمتي يصنعون‬

Majd eat bread with olive oil and Za’atar / thyme and potato chips

‫مجد تاكل الخبز مع الزيت والزعتر والبطاطا‬

 Hazel eat salad with olive oil and cheese and potato chips

‫هزل تاكل السلطة بزيت الزيتون وتاكل الجبن والبطاطس‬

Grandfather, father, mother, uncle and aunt eat food and back to home.

‫جدي وابي وامي وعمي وعمتي ياكلون الطعام ثم يعودون الى البيت‬
