Terms & Conditions

Promo Mechanics:

1. The promo is open to all residents of the philippines.

2. Reserve a property for sale listing on Carousell between July 14 - August 14, 2021.
a. The property should have been listed on Carousell.
b. The property should be ready for occupancy and should have been fully turned over to the
buyer by August 30, 2021.
c. The property should be located within Metro Manila.
3. Join the contest by filling out this Google form.

4. Only entries submitted from July 14 until August 14, 2021 will be included in the pool of of eligible
participants.
Prize(s):

5. One winner will be announced between August 30 and September 12, 2021 via Carousell in-app
chat, Carousell social platforms, and any other channel of communication provided by the winner.
6. One winner will be announced between August 30 and September 12, 2021 and will be entitled
to a home makeover worth P330,000 with breakdown as follows:
a. Home design consultation with a home decorator worth P80,000.
b. Home furnishings, fixtures, finishings, as well as any delivery or miscellaneous fees
incurred, worth PHP250,000 all in.
7. Prizes not collected within the Collection Period will be automatically forfeited without liability to
the Eligible Carousell User and Carousell reserves the right to select a reserve winner to
substitute the winner.
8. All prizes under the campaign are not replaceable, transferable or exchangeable. e.g. not
convertible to cash.
9. Criteria for selecting winners:
a. 25% The entry clearly explained how the participant found their dream home on Carousell.
b. 25% The entry was able to elaborate his/her current life situation, any difficulties, and his/her
life aspirations.
c. 25% The entry clearly elaborated why he/she needs a life makeover.
d. 25% How inspirational their story was
e. The 20% price tax for the prizes exceeding Php10,000.00 and all other taxes and
expenses incurred in relation to the prizes will be shouldered by the winner.

Notification and Announcement of Winners

9. The winner will be notified through registered e-mail and/or phone call by Carousell
representatives, on how to claim their prizes.
10. The wiinner must provide all relevant documents to Carousell within seven (7) working days from
the date of notification to confirm eligibility. Prizes not collected within the Collection Period will
be automatically forfeited without liability to the Eligible Carousell User and Carousell reserves
the right to select a reserve winner to substitute the Winner.
11. Winner will be announced via official Carousell’s Facebook page
12. Carousell has the right to use the names and photos of the promo winners in any advertising or
marketing materials
How to redeem:

13. Carousell will verify the identity of the winner.

14. Winner must present proof of purchase
a. Contract to sell
b. Deed of absolute sale
c. Signed Reservation Form
d. Screenshot of in-app chat with property seller
15. Winner must present a valid Identification Card for verification.
16. Awarding of prizes will be done through online communications.
17. All decisions pertaining to this promo made by Carousell PH with the approval of DTI shall be deemed
final and non-appealable.
18. The winner must be willing to be featured on Youtube and other social channels owned by Carousell
and the home decorator.
19. The following are excluded from joining the promo:
- Carousell PH employees and their direct relatives

Control Measures
1. A DTI Representative shall be invited to be present via Google hangouts meet during the
announcement of the winner.
2. The details of the winner together with their corresponding prize will be given to the DTI
Representative after the announcement.
