A Wish Fulfilled

Last month, I had to make a difficult decision. I was in doubt. I was

thinking hard and did not know what to do which will make my wish come
true? However, I must wait, see and pray for a miracle to happen.
I was contemplating whether I should go and attend a reunion party
with my old classmates who would be there including Sharon. We did not get
along and often had misunderstandings which led to many disagreements and
conflicts. I could remember the incident when she accidentally damaged the
school computer by splinting water on a computer and asked me not to report
to teachers. However, I did report the matter to the teacher who is in charge
because I believed in honesty. She was furious with me although she was not
punished. She got scolded by the teacher and totally ignored me. I always
wanted to bury the hatchet but I did not get the opportunity.
I was thinking about the matter for a few days. Finally, I decided to go
to the reunion. I drove to the restaurant but then I was one hour late.
Everyone was already there. I met many of my old classmates and most of
them were successful in their careers. We went down memory lane and talked
about our fond moments.
When I met Sharon, we apologised to each other. We put aside our
grievances and talked like good friends. I was relieved and happy that my wish
finally came true. I was able to form friendship with her again.
Before we departed, Sharon and I exchanged address and contact
numbers. We said that we would help each other in the future if needed. I felt
happy because I had made the decision and attended the party which helped
my wish to come true.
